What is your favorite December holiday dessert ?
For me is dessert we have on Christmas Eve that my grandmother used to make.
Now my dads cousin makes it since my grandmother is now gone
Mascarpone tart with a chocolate icing with little bit of liquor. In it

@YourCaringConfidant I think of lemon desserts as being summery (and Christmas here is typically fairly cold) but lemon cake is delicious!

Christmas cake. Traditional fruitcake, light style, heavy on fruit, no nuts. I have never made it, my grandma used to make multiple every year. I think there's also gumdrops, lots of candied fruit and glazed cherries anyway.
