The Power of Being Seen: Cultivating Our Next Generation of Supporters 💙 🤝
Have you ever had someone believe in you before you believed in yourself?
In my own experience, having someone see a spark in me that I didn't even know I had completely changed my path. That simple act of someone reaching out to tell me they thought I would be great at helping others gave me the strength to step up and realize my potential. I felt compelled by their faith in me, and that's why I am here with you all today, serving the community!
Everyone wants to be seen. We are all in a wonderful position to be that person for someone else. You do not need to be a leader or a long-time member to notice potential. Any of us can recognize when a peer naturally shows great listening skills and genuine kindness.
I want to encourage everyone to actively acknowledge these skills in a meaningful way.

Here is my humble request: When you see someone who is showing potential to contribute even more, perhaps a member who'd make a fantastic listener, or someone who might fit a leadership role, let them know!

🫴 I just wanted to say I really loved how you supported your fellow listeners. Have you ever thought about becoming a Peer Supporter? I think you would be incredibly good at it.
When we take the time to acknowledge others, we are validating their kindness and building their confidence. We are letting them know that they matter to this community.
Let us make it a habit to look for the good in our peers and reach out when we see it.

Yes, it was Comphi. They’re no longer part of this platform. I was told that I post engaging and innovative icebreakers, so they invited me to become a forum supporter for two communities. I said yes, and the engagement grew manifold once I started posting regularly. It made me feel seen, validated, and appreciated. I’m grateful for people like Comphi, who recognized my potential even before I knew it existed.
