Growing up with a mentally abusive mother is like being trapped in a house with walls made of words, each one a weapon aimed directly at your heart. It's a constant barrage of criticism, manipulation, and gaslighting, leaving you feeling small, insignificant, and utterly alone.

From the moment you can remember, her words cut deeper than any knife, slicing away at your self-esteem until there's almost nothing left. You learn to hide your true feelings, burying them beneath a facade of false smiles and forced laughter, all the while praying that no one sees the cracks beneath the surface.

You walk on eggshells around her, never knowing what will set off her temper or spark another round of verbal attacks. Every word you speak is measured, every action calculated, in a desperate attempt to avoid the inevitable backlash that follows any sign of independence or defiance.

And yet, no matter how hard you try to please her, it's never enough. You're never good enough, smart enough, or worthy of her love and affection. She delights in tearing you down, in reminding you of all the ways you've failed to live up to her impossible standards.

Her manipulation knows no bounds, twisting your reality until you can no longer trust your own thoughts and feelings. She plays mind games, pitting you against yourself in a battle for control of your own mind. She convinces you that you're crazy, that you're the problem, that no one else would ever want you or love you the way she does.

And so you shrink further into yourself, withdrawing from the world and retreating into the safety of your own mind. You become a prisoner in your own home, a hostage to her cruel words and manipulative tactics, with no escape in sight.

But despite it all, a flicker of hope remains alive within you. You know deep down that her words are just that—words—and that they hold no power over the person you truly are. You cling to the belief that one day, you will break free from her toxic grip and find the strength to live life on your own terms.

And when that day comes, you will rise from the ashes of your pain, stronger and more resilient than you ever thought possible. You will reclaim your voice, your identity, and your sense of self-worth, and you will never again allow anyone to dim the light that shines within you. The question is when?

Noah, I might not know how you exactly feel but that flicker of hope, keep it. Be open about it, let it shine. You're right, those are just words... But I saw that shining hope inside of you, let it shine

You might ask "but when will I reclaim my own strength, identity, and not let anyone dim my light?" You see, that is a lifelong process. I don't think it can happen suddenly or something like that. It is a lifelong process and I hope that you will see the Noah you wanted. I wish you the best of luck, we are here for you
