Amazing Grace 😇
The hymn 'Amazing Grace' is originally religious.
But found a non-religious version of it and sharing with all here.
The song is soothing and can bring comfort in all kinds of situations, no matter what you are going through.

Verse 1:
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see
Chorus:
Oh, what a feeling, oh, what a sight
To find my way in the darkest night
To know that love is always near
And that I am never alone in fear
Verse 2:
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Chorus:
Oh, what a feeling, oh, what a sight
To find my way in the darkest night
To know that love is always near
And that I am never alone in fear
Verse 3:
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home
Chorus:
Oh, what a feeling, oh, what a sight
To find my way in the darkest night
To know that love is always near
And that I am never alone in fear.

Hi Don! 😊❤️ Thank you so very much for this amazing forum post and for sharing a song that is deeply loved by me. I really love how you "bridged the gap" spiritually. That song is there for all of us, no matter what our religious or spiritual beliefs may be.
I really do feel that we, as people, are much more alike than we are different. On my profile page, I have a beautiful quote that I wish we could all embrace. ❤️
I think it's good to simply have a belief system. Even having no belief system (atheist) is still a belief system. I respect them all. We all sit under the same sun, the same moon and look up at the same stars in the sky at night. We all are all humans, we all hurt and none of us are beyond fault. We are all flawed as human beings. We all have needs, hopes and dreams. 😊❤️
As for me, I have to wonder if we have all been praying to the same One all along. Religion is man made. Maybe The One has just found a way to explain things to us all differently, in a way that we as humans can understand? No one ever deposited the truth scrolls with me, that's for sure. The majority of the worlds most prolific religions boil down to one simple tenant "Love one another". That is my mantra. I'm going with that one! ❤️❤️❤️ That is my church and what I try to live daily. What ever your church may be, live it! 😊❤️
My second favorite spiritual song or hymn is "I Surrender All" and it's the rendition by CeCe Winans. Any one can remove the Jesus reference if you like. It's still a powerful piece of music that can "bridge the gap" and bring hope, comfort, solace in hard times. Sometimes we just can put all of the bricks down that we carry on our shoulders day in and day out. Surrender All. Put those bricks down one by one. It's okay to surrender to the fact that it's okay, to not be okay. It's okay to surrender to the fact that we are flawed, we are not perfect and that we don't have all the answers and we aren't expected to. It's okay to seek help and support.
Again, thanks for the great forum post. *high fives* 😊 and *hugs* ❤️
