At this table everybody matters! 💜
Have you ever been somewhere where you felt immediately left out because you weren't rich? Or your job wasn't good enough? You were judged because of where you lived? Your disability? Your ethnicity? Your gender? Your age? Your religious beliefs? Your sexuality? Your ethnicity? How did you feel and what did it take you to realise that in life we must all Come As We Are!
Here, at this table everyone is welcome and everyone is equal 💕💜
@Amanda84
I have always been insecure about my weight... And was often bullied in school and used to get excluded at times... I've faced a lot of racism and hate online.
But I do realise we can't control what others say or think of ourselves... I'm still petty insecure 🙁 but I'm trying to be at peace with myself and I think I have learned not to take criticism at heart at this point... At least from the people who don't know me personally... and I'm trying to distance myself from toxic spaces as much as possible... because I know how much effect it has on me.
I realise we have to accept ourselves, before expecting people to accept us. and I'm slowly trying to work on that. 🤍
@fossilfellow I love you just the way you are 💖 to me you'll always be perfect💖
@fossilfellow
🥺
💜💕
Im sorry that you experienced that. It was not ok, I'm glad you don't let toxic opinions affect you as much now 🥰
@Amanda84

In almost every aspect.
I don’t like how I was raised, who raised me and the stigma I have received being “*** kid”. I was expected to be a failure. I was expected to lose my kids. To not have anything to amount to. Do the things I have now amount and go on my gratitude list? Yes. But constantly feeling the judgment, I strive for perfection.
I was never good at making friends when I was younger. My mother would punish me. TW so I’m not even going to say it. To this day, I feel inadequate that I don’t have friends. I can remember all the pretty girls getting attention. I felt left out because I didn’t have their hair or their clothes . I constantly compare myself to others.
I’m still learning how to just be me but, I still don’t know if I’m good enough 💕 😢
@peachThinker662 you are more than good enough 💖 you are a amazing lady who I love alot💖 I'm so proud I get to call you my friend 💖

When I was in middle and high school I felt that way every single day until I went to my trade school. Then everyone wanted to be my friend. I never understood why people acted mean towards me at my home school, but in the long run it was their loss.
@straightforwardBeechwood1070 people can be bullys for no reason 🙁 I'm sorry you had such a hard time😥 but yes it's there loss💖 gives you a giant tiny hug 💗
Thank you 🙏🏻 Yeah I learned at a young age that not everyone is going to like me and that’s okay. I just need to be my true self and one day my real friends will come into my life. That’s another reason I decided to rid of my social media accounts and join you guys on here. For healing and hoping that maybe I can make some true friends instead of fair weather friends. ❤️
@straightforwardBeechwood1070 I only use this site too 💖💖 it's all I need I'm sure you'll make lots of great friends here 💖
@Tinywhisper11 I sure hope so 💖
@Amanda84 it looks like I've stolen your post, sorry about that😕 it's just this topic hits hard😥
@Tinywhisper11
Your input is valuable, don't feel like you have to apologise, steal away, you care and i love that about you 💜💕
@Amanda84 I've felt this sometimes at family gatherings because I don't have a good enough job. However, surprisingly I talked to a friend from university like nothing changed. She accepted me at face-value, not because of my status or job or place in life.
I know that I'm trying my best, going at my own pace, learning every day to reach someplace like where they are (in my eyes, successful). But I'm not going to go around telling everyone this. So I appreciate my friend for recognizing my efforts, without me even telling them.
