hi, I don't know if I should say the whole situation but I was wondering if anyone had any advise getting over really bad jealousy issues. I know its a stupid way to feel but I couldn't sleep last night and I want to be happy for this person.

Its not a stupid way to feel, if that's how you feel.
Jealousy, is a natural human emotion, we all feel whether we want to or not.
Its about acknowledging it, asking ourselves why it is bothering us so much and making a choice not to be consumed by it.
Its not easy but it is doable!

any tips on how to be happy for this person? I've tried to be happy for them but I feel this lump in my throat and my lungs kind of close off in a way that makes it hard to breath and that's what kept me up last night.

I'm a high-school student and awhile ago a new girl transfered to our school from a different state. I was the first person who approached her and talked to her and invited her to sit with the people I normally sit with. we got really close and talked a lot staying up late on the phone and we really had a connection, i knew for sure she liked me too because both her best friend and her sister had sent me screenshot of her saying so. I wanted to ask her to be official but I wanted to do it right so I invited her family for dinner so that they could meet and I was planning to ask her the day after. The dinner kept on getting pushed back so I waited to ask her because I wanted to do everything right. but recently a close friend asked her to be official and she said yes which I tried not to show hurt but It really did and I know its stupid because I waited and he had every right to ask, and she had every right to say yes but I just cant be happy for him, I try to but it hurts. and now I'll have to see them together every day since we have the same lunch and a class together, and its not fair for them to just stop talking to them outta no where because they're still my friends.

It's going to be difficult but I can see what a good character you have and I'm sure you'll still have a big heart and in time, all you can do is literally turn up, be friends and it will get less awkward in time.
You'll have to act like you are happy fir them until you are!

I'm good 😊 Sometimes I can feel exhausted, I care for my dad at the moment who is going through alot, and somedays, I don't know if I'm coming or going, it can be alot!

I travelled the world for a few years and was blessed to see and do so much and to meet so many people! It was awesome. Now I am a full time carer for my parents, they are my whole life and I am delighted I can be there for them!

Recently, I would describe myself as, overwhelmed and dissociated. I don't really feel connected with myself, or around anything else like people or nature. I'm trying to work on myself again but I still feel foggy in my thoughts and emotions. It feels like i'm talking, or stairing at a wall half the time.
