Being judged for embarrassing hobbies . .
This was sort of somethin on my mind, but it keeps nagging at me from to to time but how do you not feel bad about being judged for some hobbies that not everyone would like? Mainly, I am talking about a hobby of mine whereas I like to collect many different little statues or figures of characters I like from things I watch whether it be SFW or NSFW.
Of course, I have fun and it makes me happy, but sometimes I cannot help but feel that someone else would judge me for doing something someone else would see as dumb or creepy or hate me just based on this one thing they know about me.
I understand that some people, can rather easily disregard what people think of likes and dislikes, and do as they wish. But, I have a habit of worrying probably overly so and it isn't as easy as not caring what people think for me. Its that little inkling that makes me think, " I wish I liked something more 'normal' or conforming to my gender role instead of being 'weird' . "
@UnsungTangerine you're not weird for liking something 💕 it is ok to have your interests and hobbies and talk about them also, I hope you can find people who make you feel accepted with all your interests and don't have you thinking there's anything wrong about it :)
I clicked on this thinking that your hobby would be weird like...toenail collection 😄 but little statues isn't weird. I think you're ok 🙂

@UnsungTangerine I love collecting little tiny trinkets too. It is not just you. You are not alone. Don't let anyone judge you for what you do. If it makes you happy then keep doing it because that's what makes you YOU.
@UnsungTangerine Hii, I think it's a good thing that everyone has different hobbies. This makes everyone different. You are that unique person. And your hobbies was cool. Sometimes you don't have to think too much about what other people think, this will actually make you worrying. I hope you can be happy every day.

collecting statues isn’t weird at all! I actually thinks that this is something lots of people does. And i hope you can meet someone that could understand you or have the same interests as you.
You shouldn’t listen to other opinions. Liking something is natural and it doesn’t matter what other people think as long as you’re happy. I hope that you come across some figures you really like soon :).
