Curiosity killed the cat but the cat has 9 lives
I'm curious, dear members and listeners would it be fun to have a members feedback. Just like what members do that they drop feedbacks for listeners, but in this case, listeners are dropping feedbacks for members.
I'll like comments, opinions, discussions.
@Friendlylistener777 hi. you said you'd like comments, opinions and discussions but here i am with a questionnaire for you, even though you didn't say you'd like questions. bc im curious and i have curious questions:
by feedback, do you mean reviews?
members providing feedback for listeners helps other members choose a listener well. how is a listener leaving feedback for a member gonna help? if it does help, who will it help?
a member's feedback for a listener could look like "they are very understanding and supportive" or something like "they gave me advice and tried to fix my situation when i just wanted someone to listen". what would a listener's feedback for a member look like? can i have 5-10 examples please?
Hi, I really appreciate your questions. They actually made me realize I didn’t explain my idea properly.
I didn’t mean reviews in the usual sense. Not rating or judging members the way members review listeners. I understand why that would feel uncomfortable.
What I had in mind was more like small supportive reflections from listeners that show a member’s growth over time.
I also get that things like this can already happen in inbox chats. But messages get lost over time, so my thought was something a bit more intentional that stays. Something a member can go back to on their profile and see how far they’ve come.
So it’s more for the member themselves. Like a way to look back and see where they were emotionally before, where they are now, and the progress in between.
For example, instead of judging, it would look more like:
I noticed you were more open compared to the last time we talked.
You expressed your feelings more clearly today.
You handled this situation more calmly than before.
You seem to be understanding your emotions better now.
Even if it doesn’t feel like it, you are making progress.
You explained things in a way that made it easier to support you.
I can see that you are trying and that matters.
You seem a bit lighter than when we first talked.
You are taking more time to reflect before reacting.
You have grown in how you talk about this situation.
So it’s not about feedback on the person. It’s more about reflecting their growth back to them in a way they can revisit later.
But I do understand your concerns. It would have to be handled carefully so it still feels safe for everyone.
I hope I was able to answer your questions and clear up all confusions.
