Did you have good childhood and teenage?
I was blessed. I had quite alright childhood and teenage. No mental health struggle and problems. On older age I became more anxious and desperate.
@Slayer22 How fortunate you are that you had a decent childhood and teen years. I love that for you! As for your now as an adult, I hope that things get better for you and that you are able to release whatever is causing you anxiety. Happy Monday to you. I hope you have a nice day.
@YourCaringConfidant
Despite anxiety, despair and anhedonia. I try to remind myself, I still have lots of good things in life. I wont quit, I love my family and friends.
@Slayer22 You most certainly do and I love that that's something you remind yourself! Way to go! 👏 May your life continue to be blessed and that you stay surrounded by love. Take care. 😀
I faced sexual abuse from when i was 5 to 12 and it wasn't a single person, i guess my childhood is messed up? I thought it was normal at the time.
@bestGlobe4193 are you doing alright?
I'm alright, just disgusted of myself sometimes.

@Slayer22my first real memory of anxiety was around 8 years old. I was at my moms (i was raised by paternal grandparents) andbwas riding my bike home from my cousins and my mind just stated counting on its own and it got faster and faster and faster until it kind of hut down because it couldnt ho any faster. Not too long after that i would occassionally just break out in huge mosquito bite hives and the only thing i could do is get in a tub of hot water and make myself not scratch...sometimes it would start in my mouth amd my tongue would itch and sometimes it started in my lungs...they would itch and i had difficulty breathing. I was eventually prescribed benedryl but was not diagnosed until about 30 yrs old.
@Slayer22
I have a friend who I think the childhood was being peace and happy like yours. However, she has a mental health for this. Mental health comes to everyone, happy or unhappy one. We're just recognize it when? Her childhood isn't same as mine anyway.
