So… **how are you feeling today?**👇
Tired but hopeful. I have little light inside me.
Heavy-heart and teary eyed.
I miss my old friend at work during days like today. I could confide in her all my issues and she would listen and give great advice.
@braindamag3
I’m really sorry you’re feeling that way. It’s so hard missing someone who made you feel seen and understood. That kind of connection is rare—and it makes days like this feel even heavier. I'm here if you ever need to talk.
@braindamag3 sending you best wishes and support and I saw you tagged me on another post but couldn't find it, wanted to say thank you for your kind words, your daughter and wife are lucky to have you. I care for my parents, my dad had cancer, he is through it thankfully, but the after effects are tough, he has bad mobility and also balance, needs help walking, alot of medication and dressings to be changed, alot of hospital appointments, he struggles to sleep too. My mother had a nervous breakdown and doesn't leave the house alone so I need to be strong for them both. My uncle had a stroke and is only young so it's also hard seeing him in a nursing home 💜
@Amanda84
I know all too well the trials and tribulations of caring for parents.
We endured years of parental caregiving.
on my wife's side, dad had dementia in the end and was a handful for a couple of years, mom suffered a massive stroke and was paralyzed on one side, no mobility, wheelchair bound for over a decade. she was a thorn in everybody's side for the whole time.
on my side, dad would not listen to doctor's advice, had high blood pressure and diabetes. smoked, ate and drank whatever. mom on the other hand lived with diabetes for decades, maintained it well, and was the last of all parents to pass, she eventually went from lung cancer, they say most likely attributed to second hand smoke from dad.
I feel for having to go through this.
Appreciative and optimistic
@azureAcres1605
That’s a beautiful mindset to have! Sending good energy your way—may that optimism keep growing. 💛
Thank you! 😊
@Eman144
Sad. My whole world is failing and I'm struggling.
@G33KCULTURE
I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. You don’t have to go through it alone—I'm here to listen and talk if you want to share more. What’s been weighing on you the most lately?
- @Eman144 trying to fix my relationship with my girlfriend. We are separated and we have kids and it hurts not seeing everyone each day.
frustrated
@julia0912"I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. Frustration can be overwhelming sometimes, especially when things aren't going the way you hoped. If you want to talk about what's going on, I'm here to listen. Sometimes just saying it out loud (or writing it out) can help ease the pressure a bit.
Honestly I'm not doing great. I feel broken and I am not sure why I feel like this, I am not sure if what I am going through is a low mood or if what I am going through is depression. It's complicated because some days I feel happy and content and other days the negative thoughts and view just comes crashing in like an unwanted house guest and is like "HELLO"
I'm in a tricky financial situation currently and I feel like everything over the past few months has been crashing down on me like a huge piano falling from the sky. It has felt like *** and it hasn't been fun. I live with my brother and sister and I am unable to work due to a disability I have.
I feel like the people around me irl just don't care about me. They say they do but my brain just always dismisses it and is like "no they don't". They probably do care but my brain like I said just dismisses it...
I'm new to this app after my mind started going down a very negative spiral and I have been feeling like this for a while but yesterday was just too much and I decided I am going to do something about my mental health because it is literally in shambles right now. I just want to feel understood and I feel like not a lot of people understand what goes on in my head.
It's frustrating because I want to help in my family but my disability is literally preventing me from doing that and I feel useless because of this.
Ok I'll end off my message here, i just want to talk to someone 😓
@Nowa22
Welcome, thanks for your honesty, it's not easy to open up at all. Depression sucks and people often tell us, I'll be there for you, let me know if you need help, but in reality, they make you feel like you are bothering them, but that's mostly because they don't know how to help. It's important to not try and pretend you are ok and process how you truly feel. You are heard here and you are not alone, you might feel broken but you can feel that and still be the wonderful person you are. You matter. Hugs and best wishes 🥰💜
@Nowa22
I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. That sounds incredibly heavy, and it makes total sense that you're overwhelmed. It takes a lot of strength to open up like this, and I want you to know you're not alone. I'm here if you ever want to talk more — you deserve to feel supported and understood. 💙
Thank you i appreciate it, i honestly have bottled it up for a long while and getting it out to start with already felt like a release of pressure
I’m sad and depressed, I miss the woman I love.
@Swtlou84
I'm right there with you. I want my family back
One word: PERIODS
Emotion: AAAAAUUYUUUGHHHHHHHGGAHHAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
To all the women who go through periods: good job. You're going through ***. You deserve heaven, aka a giant tub of ice cream and lots of hugs and kisses.
@Ashie4sh
They suck, the more ice-cream the better 😁💜
@Eman144 alone
@idkjoe you are never alone here, sending you my best wishes 💜🥰
