So… **how are you feeling today?**👇
Not ok. Never ok. Always blamed for everything. I hate it.
@SwanGirlZX10r sorry to hear that, sounds horrible and unfair, sending you hugs and best wishes 💜🥰
@SwanGirlZX10r
I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. That sounds incredibly heavy — and unfair. No one deserves to always feel blamed or like they’re never okay. You don’t have to carry all of that by yourself.
If you want to talk more about what’s been happening, I’m here to listen — no judgment, just support. You matter, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.
Thank you, I’m new on here so I don’t really know how to use it that much. I would also really like to talk, how would I be able to do that? Thank you.
@Eman144 lost
@Freebird2102
It’s okay to feel lost sometimes. It doesn’t mean you’re broken — it means you’re human. Take a deep breath. You don’t need to have all the answers right now. Just take things one step at a time, and be kind to yourself along the way. You’re not alone in this, and things can and do get better.
I have a lot of things to say, but I'm sure I'll get carpal tunnel if I do.
To be brief, I am at a mid-life awakening.
I spent most of my life being a people pleaser, caring what other people thought of me, changing my actions to not look weird, and apologizing if I remotely made someone feel bad.
This has lead me to not speak up when I should. To lose out on promotions. To be underpaid and overlooked. To not defend my wife when she needs me to. To not speak up for my needs and bottle them up instead. To not go after my dreams because I feel I can't. To have female coworkers and friends push past boundaries that I don't set for myself.
I have come a long way from where I was. But it is so easy to go back to my old ways because of comfort. There are so many opportunities I have let go or missed, but I keep telling myself that there is so much more over the wall I have built for so long.
I am okay - it is just a lot.
One day at a time.
I'm going to go to bed tonight and tell my wife about my needs, how important they are, and ask her if we can come to a common agreement on how to accommodate those needs (along with hers). That it is important to be on the same page and that it will help strengthen our marriage. This is a step I haven't taken in a very long time.
@walnutPineapple6969
Thank you for sharing this. It takes strength to see yourself clearly and even more to start changing. You're not alone, and this step you're taking—being honest with your wife, owning your needs—is huge. Keep going. One day at a time is enough. You're on the right path.
@eman144
Thank you.
It is easy to bury yourself and feelings when you've done it for sooooo long. It takes strength to conquer yourself and your thoughts.
i feel like i dont belong and that I'm a burden.
@Ma1oka
I'm really sorry you're feeling this way — that weight can be incredibly hard to carry. Feeling like you don't belong or like you're a burden doesn't mean it's true, but I know how real and overwhelming those thoughts can feel.
If you’re open to it, can we talk about what’s been going on? Has something specific triggered these feelings, or have they been around for a while?
You're not alone in this, even if it feels that way right now. And you do matter — even if your mind is telling you otherwise. Let's figure this out together.
@Eman144
Disgusted with effort not yielding results.
@islifeworthliving101/
I get why you’d feel disgusted — putting in all that effort and not seeing results can feel like a slap in the face. It's exhausting, and it can make you question everything: your choices, your abilities, even your worth. But your effort does matter. Just because the results haven’t shown up yet doesn’t mean they never will. Progress isn’t always loud or visible, and sometimes what feels like failure is just a step forward in disguise. You’re not weak for feeling this way — you’re human. And you’re not alone.
Tired, achy, lonely in my own mind.
@lovey7
That’s such a raw and honest way to put it. When your own thoughts don’t feel like a safe place, it can be isolating in a way that’s hard to explain to others. It’s like being stuck in a room with no door, and no one else even knows you’re in there.
You're not weak for feeling this. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is just keep going, even when our mind makes it feel impossible. You're not alone in this, even though I know it feels like you are.
I'm here to listen — no judgment, no fixing unless you want that. Just here. Would you like to talk more about what's been on your mind lately?
Unwell
@thutchi1114
I'm really sorry you're feeling unwell. That can mean so many things — physically, emotionally, or both — and none of it is easy. You don’t have to go through it alone. If you want to talk, I’m here to listen, no pressure or expectations. And if rest or space is what you need right now, that’s completely okay too. Just please remember that you matter, even on the hardest days
@lightLime3933
"I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. It’s okay to not always be okay, even on days that are ‘supposed’ to feel joyful. Sometimes our hearts don’t match the mood around us, and that’s not something to feel guilty about. You’re not alone in this, even if it feels like it right now. I’m here if you want to talk or just sit quietly with someone who understands.
