How to feel safe?
Do anyone know how it feels to have a relaxed brain? i have forgotten how it feels like : P
Its 1am and i am going to sleep with a heaviness in chest, overthinking and a completely dark room with just myself in it. my bed has space but no one to truly share with!!
@SifdhartSriv21 I'm so sorry you're feeling so lonely and heavy right now 🙁 please know that your feelings are completely valid, and they matter 💜
Some things that help me when I find myself in similar space is journaling my raw feelings somewhere safe — even in a digital journal helps.
Listening to guided sleep meditations, to calm myself and lower the racing thoughts and overthinking before bed also helps. I personally recommend Lauren Ostrowski Fenton - YouTube channel, especially "it's ok — Voice only" on loop.

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I know this feeling well and it is one of the most isolating things a person can feel.
I also suggest guided meditations. I’m a talker, so using the automated chat on here has also really helped me just get it out of my system. I wish I could tell you a magic spell you can just say to make the feeling go away, but unfortunately that’s not how it works :(
Honestly, I love the ASMR videos where you “flow my directions”, it distracts your brain and gives you something else to focus on.
I hope these help, and I hope you can get some good sleep tonight !
Sleep doesn't come easily for me so at night time I really want to switch off. I agree with the other poster, I use asmr to relax me. I use the rainfall or beach waves or ambient sounds to put me at ease, on a loop.
I'll also say, Brain, it's been a long day. I deserve peace and rest, so you have your nap time and I'll have mine and tomorrow will be a new day...
It helps calm my mind constantly knowing there are only a handful of things that I can change in the world around me, just keep in mind the little things that you worry on a daily and everything will fall in line :)
