My aunt passed away from breast cancer.. she was in her 50s.

My cousin passed away from lung cancer. She was in her 40s.

My cousin passed away from cancer. He was in his 40s.

My paternal grandma passed away from water going into her lungs. 70s age.

My maternal grandma passed away from blood clot post hysterectomy. She was likely in her 50s only.

My aunt passed away from muscle degeneration. She was in her 60s.

These are just some people coming to my mind from my list of relatives.

From the communities ive been a part of, there are yet more stories coming to my mind of people having left the world due to a health issue.

Most old people in my family / relatives have multiple ongoing health issues. Most young people including myself have multiple ongoing health issues. Most of the people I know in my community have multiple ongoing health issues.

Im just pausing... to think of this health care crisis of our times... there was perhaps a different one in the past eras... and likely new things in the times ahead....

But this is whats human life then ? Midst all the achievements and glory of our works - we are such delicate creatures.

We are resilient. We are courageous. But bodily suffering is part and parcel of our life..... and eventually we do say our goodbyes. is natural death happening nowadays? Or is it always some illness ... as I seem to observe.

Death is obvious. Then whats my issue?

I think.... somewhere i have a tendency to be too dreamy and wishful... so reality often hits me strongly in this way from time to time...

Yes we have our moments of peace and joy and safety....

But we are living in times of more pollution, poor diets, stress of economy and relations. Of course all of this would impact the health.

Ok i dont even know whats my point of writing all this.

I think im just expressing my shock.

Oooof! This was a heavy read. 🥹🫂

I hear you, and I can really feel the weight of what you’re carrying as you reflect on this, Creamyyy. Losing so many loved ones (bless their souls) and then looking around and seeing how widespread health struggles are, can feel overwhelming and even shocking, just like you said. It’s not easy to sit with these thoughts about how fragile life and our bodies can be.

You’re right, we are both delicate and resilient. Illness, suffering, and eventually death are parts of being human, but that doesn’t make it any less painful when we’re reminded of it so closely and repeatedly. It’s natural that reality sometimes hits harder, especially if you’re someone who dreams and wishes for more ease, peace, and health for yourself and others.

Your words also touch on something very real, how much our environment, stress, and lifestyles influence our health in today’s times. It’s heavy, but it’s also honest and important to acknowledge.

Times like these I like to think on how short life really can be and how much more important it becomes for us to try our best in investing in our health and wellbeing and to try and live life to our fullest possible.

At the same time, in the middle of this fragility, you’ve noticed the courage, resilience, and the moments of peace and joy that still exist. That shows a lot of strength and wisdom in how you’re processing this.

You know? Maybe there isn’t one clear “point” to your writing this and that’s okay. Sometimes expressing the shock and the swirl of feelings is the point. You’ve given voice to something that so many quietly feel but don’t put into words.  I just want you to know it’s okay to pause here, to feel this, and to not have all the answers. You’re not alone in these thoughts. 💛 So much here is what I resonate with also and have repeated thoughts about also, and I have a feeling more people can relate with your thoughts, maybe this is a good point, if we are really getting technical about it hehe~ as a reminder that we aren’t alone. 🫂
