I Feel So Messed Up Inside…

I finally spoke up for myself. Finally got up the courage. Men. Boundaries. Fear. Brokenness. Moving towards healing. But it messed me up…

The anxiety led to hours of sleeplessness. Tossing. Turning. Trauma. Pain. Fear. Sleeplessness led to exhaustion, exhaustion and trauma led to depression, depression and exhaustion made me almost… comatose. Tired. Broken. Remembering.

Do men realize how much their mistreatment affects me? Affects other aspects of my life? Makes me afraid, mentally cringe and cower, around every man who walks near me, as if they’ll attack me?

Do they care?

My brokenness… It breaks me daily. Makes me fearful. Wary. Emotionless. Numb. Emotional. Reclusive. Broken.

And they don’t even notice.

When will this cruel war be over? When will I be able to live, function, normally, without having to fake it all the time?

Does anybody hear her?

@jesusredeemedme2425  *Hugs *  Kiara, you are brave and beautiful and fierce.

Speaking up for yourself especially after carrying so much fear and pain  is brave, even if it feels like it’s cost you pieces of yourself in the process. What you’re feeling right now s the body and mind trying to process something huge...something unfair that you should never have had to go through.
It’s not just the act of mistreatment that wounds but  it’s the ripples, the way it lingers in your sleep, your energy, your sense of safety. Those ripples aren’t your fault. They’re the weight of what was done to you.

I can’t answer for men as a whole but I can tell you this: You matter. You’ve already taken a step by speaking up... and that matters more than you might see right now.  We are people who see you, who care and who are willing to stand in that pain with you while you move toward healing.

I hear you. we all do.

Love you Kiara *more hugs * 💖
Better days are already here 😘

You did the right thing. Even though, it has caused you stress, it will ease. You were very brave in doing so. Well done
