I am scared of tomorrow

Tomorrow is coming. I am scared.

Why?

I am afraid to face tomorrow.

The things I don’t know.

The things I can’t control.

I cannot put this feeling entirely in words.

This sense of lost, groundless - not being enough.

Just one step away from the edge.

Being tether there. Neither falling nor gaining safe ground.

N I tell myself

I hear you but there is no where to run. I can only face it and see what happens as is.

I hear you. I know I am tired and weary. I wish things are better. I wish life would have given me better luck, a better pie. But that’s what they are - wishes. Do wishes, but never forget what you have.

I hear you. I hear you. I feel it all.

Even when you feel you - us, I - is not enough, I hear you.

I know know that feeling all too well, it's not strict tomorrow that I have the problem with, it's the inevitability that each tomorrow may get progressively harder to cope with.

I'm sorry you are sitting with these heavy feelings.

They can get hard to process.

When we don't know what tomorrow brings, we cannot control it and that can be scary.

That's why we must try to be grounded in the present 🩷

Hey I know what am I about to say might or might not help you much. But I also feel like you, so scared of the unforeseen, feeling ill-prepared. But you know what? F it, what is the worst that could happen? And if it happens, so what? Nth else we can do anyways right ?! So, why wasting time at the present thinking of what could have been? Let it happens, we cant stop what’s meant to be anyway.

If we can’t control it, let it be and see where it goes. Sometimes live ur life on auto-pilot.

I'd actually love to agree with you 😕😕 but life isn't always that simple. How I live my life day to day has a massive impact on my chances of recurrent blood clots, which will progressively become harder to manage as I age, so being in the 'present' is a dangerous form of avoidance.

I’m sorry to you have to deal with that. But my intention is not to indulge in the present to the point of neglecting the future. But by being presence I mean referring to focus on doing the best at the moment, choosing the best option available to us right now, and let nature take its course.

Future is uncertain, nothing is 100% certain, things can change in a split seconds. As I always say or live my life by “ work hard, do your best, leave the rest to god”.

I'm scared too. Being stuck in a limbo is the greatest thing I fear.
