I need this site. It's my way to communicate with other people outside of the care home. I don't go out, cause I'm scared of people in general. I'm disabled with no family or friends irl. It's been a hard jjourney through life so far. I rely on this site.And I understand we are all going through things, but I don't think that's a reason to take it out on others. I'm not sure it's a safe place for me. I'm sorry, but I can only be who I am 😔 I'm going to take a few days to think 😞

@Tinywhisper11 Hi Tiny, I know this is an older post, but your words resonate with me...I also come here often, as I don't really have many friends in real life, and I have no family at all. I don't talk to my intermediate family, as my parents were physically & verbally abusive growing up, and my older brothers just turnt a blind eye, and my younger brother is considered a "flying monkey" (this is ACoN lingo...Aka, Adult Children of Narcissists...).
If you ever wanna chat or just shoot the breeze, I'm around.
I sincerely think of you as a wonderful person, you're a blast to be around.
I also understand too that...Using humour helps people like us to sort of process our trauma & pain, and we're usually pretty goofy around one another lol.
