I’m Lonely… Talk to Me?
I’m putting out a similar post to what others have made recently… Struggling a bit, requesting someone to talk to and distract me… The nights are harder than the days. My texts are silent, 7Cups is silent, I’m bored and lonely, and on the less-good days, my mind wanders into a deep depression. Today, I’m ok, just feeling a bit lonely, no one to talk to… None of my friends are texting me back and the forums are too quiet for me… Talk to me about anything? Random topics, stories, games, news, things going on in your life, tell me about that pretty bug you saw outside today, I don’t care what it is, just keep me company. Not just tonight, but in general. Life gets lonely over here…
No creepy or weird conversations, please. Just good conversation, make me think, let me find new friends, etc. Recommend good kids’ and YA books, tell me about good shows and movies on Netflix, come up with random ideas for icebreakers I can make, tell me about fun things you learned at school, suggest a new hobby, ask me questions, get to know me <3 Anything goes. Random is fun! <3

Lonely, stay here and interact! You will make actual real friends. No bots here, real live people to pour your heart out to. Sorry your lonely. I am too to a degree. I learned to be alone but not lonely. But would rather be interacting with folks. And this place is about as caring a place as you will find! Hugs!

Hello! If you ever find yourself needing someone to talk to I’d be more than willing to listen! I know in the world of technology we live in life sorta gets isolating. But it also brings the opportunity to have connections like these!

@jesusredeemedme2425 hey, I saw this cute red dragonfly today, and it didn't notice me so I got a really close look and in the night I walk on roof for an hour and count the number of satellites, yesterday I only saw one satellite but saw 8 airplane! This is my favourite hobby, out of anything. What's one funny thing that happened with you recently?
Balsam, that red dragonfly saw you. It just let you watch! Their eyesight is wayyyy better than ours! And only when l lived out in Colorado for a time, away from city lights, could l see satellites with the naked eye. Watched the space station go over and loved it. Now in a city, too much background light to watch now, except for planes!
@warmheartedHuman836 hey, that is great that you used to see satellites and I am happy for you that you can still see airplanes, if it is the case that the dragonfly saw me and still let me watch, then I must admit I am more than lucky!!!😉😉😉
Balsam, dragonflies are also called Mosquito Hawks. They can fly really fast and make pinpoint accurate turns to snatch mosquitoes out of the air. I have had them land on me. I think we appear in slow motion to them. They know they are faster than us for sure! A miracle little animal in the way their wings work. One of God's really amazing creatures, similar to a hummingbird in a way. I think l watch too many nature shows! Lolol
@warmheartedHuman836 hey that is some real knowledge! I didn't new this, I especially didn't knew dragonflies eat mosquitoes and they can fly this fast . It's amazing how u know so much!
Balsam, memory fails me, but dragonflies can fly at ridiculous speeds, maybe 60 when they choose to. (That might be wrong) but l love nature shows and have watched a ton of them. Some of it sticks! Ha
Balsam, why are you here? Is it okay to ask? I am still not sure if l am crossing a line to ask such things. I came here because of physical pain, chronic, but found that my life experience and positive outlook on life (usually) has made me able to encourage others in anxiety, depression,loneliness and such. And as l encourage others, l barely notice my pain. It's as if l am encouraging myself at the same time so l love it here with SO many nice and caring individuals to talk with, like you and about everyone l have posted to in my 2 weeks being here!!!

Yeah! I want to help people, find answers to so many things, to live a peaceful life, have a small house, a garden maybe perhaps a flower shop, marry someone I love, have children and all!

At 68, I'll have crazy stories enough to keep your mind occupied for sure of crazy stuff l have done and seen through the years before social media existed. Love you kiddo! Bastion, you are hilarious! Great post! I learned to juggle rocks, bored to death at an outside job at 16 yrs old. And you can do it sitting down, but no margin for error. Love your list and upbeat sense of humor! Glad you are here!!!

And you learned to juggle rocks? Kudos! I started with fruit...for I was told when I was young not to play with my food....and since I had no intention of eating the satsumas and apples I was given, I felt free to play away! But rocks!? Colour me impressed! After all, I never had to worry about missing a catch and then dropping the odd satsuma on my toes.
Knight, tiny rocks, big gravel in a littke bldg supply parking lot. I finally got so good at it l would pick up fruit in grocery stores and put them back when through. Ha. Now l am always sitting as a paraplegic, way harder to juggle, cant take a quick step to catch a miss-thrown whatever? And have to keep it above my knees! Must be far more exacting in your throws sitting down!! Haha
Oh, and knight, thanks for the things you said about me. My head suddenly gained weight! Lol
At least a satsuma would hurt less than a rock. Hehe

Ever seen a china rose? Pretty flower, that. We brought some in today, put it in a vase. I draw flowers xD you have any specific thing you draw, or are you a general art master?
If youre into sketching, i definitely recommend flowers. Hibiscuses are easy to draw and shade. Roses arent as hard as they look (i was surprised!). And you dont ever need to erase, trust me. Whatever mistake was made it can be salvaged. Flowers are cool like that xD
We got three new books! One is of a religion so...but the other two are the dubliners and an agatha christie book. Gimme a signal if you want to hear a mini yap on agatha christie, by the by xD

Unassuming, l can pencil draw, scetch very well. But l tried painting, oh my, that is an entirely different skill! I am always impressed with those who paint well. It is a great gift!

I dont know if youve read any of her works, but theyre Sherlock-Holmes type of detective novels. Some of her mystery books have an old, sweet lady (Miss Marple) as the one figuring everything out, which is !! xD Agatha Christie was an expert in everything. According to some sources, when she attempted to find the expert in some field of archaelogy, the archaeologist said: "You are" (the expert) which, goals xD
This gal also went and disappeared for 11 days and never told anyone why, effectively making her own life a mystery. She wrote romance books under a pen name "Mary Westmacott". And she caused 12 year old me to try and write detective books 😅

I started rewatching My So Called Life the other day! I loved that show when it was first released, and I don't think it aged too badly. Even if it isn't good, it's a great shot of nostalgia 😊 Claire Danes is one of my favorite actresses because of this show!

Specter, Claire Danes is a hottie. Have you ever seen "Meet Joe Black" with Brad Pitt in his prime with Claire as his live interest. Whew, it is a very odd movie, but wow was their some amazing chemistry on screen. Claire was amazing, been a fan ever since!

I went to the gym today and i learned few stuff from my friend. I also use heavier weight today but ended up with great pain at home haha. I having a hard times moving from sitting to standing.

Minghao, you know you work a muscle, overload it to damage it so it comes back stronger. But if you overdo it, like you likely did if you can barely stand, you will end up just quitting! So gradual increase in weight, you can't rush it. Muscles take a few days to come back stronger of course. But if you go up slowly in weight, you will keep at it! Really, horribly sore muscles will talk you out of even going to the gym. Ha.
