Just Checking In
Hello, hope everyone's doing well. Just checking in. I went to the store today and practiced ollies a bit on my bike on the way there.
I couldn't on the way back because I had carbonated drinks, but it was pretty fun because it kept me in the moment.
It was so awkward with the clerk...they were from India and I'm so discombobulated around different cultures. I ended up telling them twice I was paying with debit and said sorry twice for some reason.
I had a sloppy joe with a dill pickle salad for lunch, and a white chocolate mocha and apple tart for breakfast. Was thinking of meandering around some forest to sustainably harvest some green boughs for some home decor.

Your day sounded really good. I'm listening to Bubble Gum by Clairo right now. My day was a little tiring, but it took a turn earlier. I had a band rehearsal after school, and I felt really anxious cause the teacher kept calling me out, but that wasn't too bad, it was the same stuff they always call me out for. They want me to play louder, but I get pretty anxious. My friend kinda called me a s*** for having an ex and for dating someone right now and it felt like a stab to the heart. It opened some floodgates, and my mental health that's been good more months started to crumble. I know I can get through though. I have a concert on Saturday, and I'm pretty excited. It's my first real concert of the year, and I get to wear my dress and everything :)

I remember when a friend of mine called me that. I was exactly the way you described it and hurt for a really long time.
It's so funny because they had been with more people than I had, and as I grew older I met awesome ladies - vibrant artists, intelligent and hard working who were hitting triple digits.
Slowly my stress of highschool fell away and a greater wiser world replaced it as I became more comfortable with how different and diverse it is out here.

The concert went really well, I had a lot of fun. As for the dress, I loved it! It was so much better than the last dress we had to wear
@communicativePond1728 a bit of a dare devil in your bike there😎 I don't think I could do wheelies♿♿ my day was ok ❤ I had coffee for breakfast and I had some strawberries not long ago. I'm in the UK and it's freeezinnggg here. Some places in the UK even had snow last night. I'm in bed at the moment, cause my pain levels have started to rise. But all in all a peace full winters day. Oh and pinch, punch first of the month 😁😁😁 did you get a advent calendar today??

I am a bit of a dare devil...I do push myself a bit too hard or not enough still on my bike and in my day with negative thinking.
But I'm learning more about mindfulness and being effective these so maybe that will integrate more and more in a positive way!
I like the idea of an advent calendar a hekkin lot - I'm having a really bad day and maybe buying one will cheer me up a bit?
Or even just going shopping for one...be probably nice to out of the house for a bit anyway...thanks so much tiny for the idea

I didn't buy one, I kinda made one!
Like with things I bought today or that I'd recently bought and haven't used yet.
It has candles, accessories, a couple pairs of pants from the thrift store, a keychain, a pendant and some earrings and other things like that...
