Reality Check Thread 😣
Drop one habit you KNOW is holding you back...!! 🤧 Others reply with one blunt advice (no sugarcoating) 💓

@AiluraTheCat Thinking I'm a failure anyway so there's no point in trying and I don't need to socialize because everyone probably hates me lol
@failedtears2010
You’re not a failure, you’re just believing a thought that isn’t proven.
If you stop trying, nothing changes. If you try, even a little, things can. ❤️
And most people aren’t thinking abt you that much, they’re busy with themselves. Don’t let assumptions isolate you. ❤️
N everyone??? I never claimed that I hate you? Do i? You're loved here 😊
Start small...!! Action first, confidence later.

Drug addiction 😢
Self harming ð¥²
If I have to choose only one and worst, then sleeping very late
@quickwittedKite5386
Ahh, i myself struggle with this a lot 🤧Sleeping very late isn’t just a habit, it quietly wrecks ur energy, focus, n mood. By Fixing that, we would see lot of other things get easier. ❤️
Don’t overthink it. Set a fixed sleep time n stick to it, even if u don’t feel sleepy. Cut screens 30–60 mins before bed n wake up at the same time no matter what
Discipline here isn’t fancy, it’s repetitive n a bit uncomfortable. But this one change can reset everything else. 😊
You're not alone in this <3 we got you..!! *Hugs* 🤗

@AiluraTheCat
Reaching out for my phone every second
Sleeping late.
@AiluraTheCat too scared to go to therapy bc i don’t want it confirmed that things are bad and i don’t want to talk about the bad things because i know it will upset me xx
@Rosa343
Hey Rosa, love ur username 😊..!!!
It’s scary, yeah but avoiding it keeps u stuck. u don’t have to share everything; you just set the pace.
Rn, yur mind is trying to protect u from discomfort but it’s also blocking relief at the same time. Feeling upset for a bit in a safe space is different from carrying it all by urself every day. ❤️
U don’t have to dive in. Just take the first step: book it, or even just consider it seriously. Courage here isn’t abt not being scared, it’s doing it while scared.
And i believe in u, you got this...!! You are never alone, we are here 😊
*Hugs*
@AiluraTheCat hey, thank you so much for that, i really needed it and i feel like it’s given me the confidence to give it a go so thank you xx
Procrastination 😔🙏🏻
Putting my partners happiness ahead of mine.
@plumPal5751
You're kind 😊..!!
Caring is good but losing yourself isn’t. If you always come second, the relationship becomes unbalanced.
Ur needs matter too, Speak them, Set small boundaries. Ik it's hard but u matter here as much as u care, love for others 😊
The right partner won’t be threatened by that ❤️, they’ll respect it.
Love shouldn’t cost ur self-worth <3 😊

Thank you. It is something I have been working on but my whole life I have been a people pleaser. I was so happy to find my wife but she has lived a life where she expects to be put first. Now that neither of us has a steady job I find myself doing more for her to the point where she doesn't ever leave the house and rarely leaves her bedroom for days. She has a lot going on and I hate to see her hurting so I do whatever I can to help her.
Can I be honest? Everytime I try to change, it always back fires on me. More specifically, everytime I promise something to my parents, I somehow never do it, and I don't know why. All they blame it the phone. Even if they're right, I just want to know about what else could cause this chronic promise breaking?
@funnyHuman6624
I appreciate u for reaching out 😊, it's requires courage <3
n It’s probably not just the phone i think, Sometimes we promise things in the moment to avoid pressure, but deep down we don’t have a clear plan or the energy to follow through. Then it turns into a cycle of avoiding, feeling guilty, n agn repeating it.
It could also be overwhelm or low motivation, not laziness. Big promises without small steps are hard to keep
Maybe try making smaller, specific promises to urself first n build from there, it’s easier to stay consistent that way. 😊
You're not alone in this, we got you...!! *hugs*
