Stateless. Identity conflict.

How many of you have a complicated relationship with your motherland? Your nationality? The place you were born and/or grown up in? When you love the land but not the people? To the point that you almost feel stateless, feel like you have no countrymen or community and don't know what your identity is. Please give honest answers. I'm deeply heartbroken over this, it's causing me depression and hampering my daily life.
