The Lone Nervous Wreck Interviewee
Anyone have advice on calming yourself before an interview? What do you do to relax yourself before you face them?
What about if they tell you if you are picked you might get a second interview? Do you feel anxious about that?
Do you always feel like you did a good job in the end? Do you feel like you just don’t know the outcome?
Do you not feel prepared for the questions? Like strengths and weaknesses? Are you like me and think it’s pretty lame?
You really don’t know unless you are face to face with the problem is my thought. I don’t say that of coarse.
Outfit advice is much appreciated I’m a woman I wear women’s things. I welcome open decision of course. (Like patterns or color for interviews yes or no decides.)
Thanks for the advice.
@Muse4apoem I felt similar during interviews in the past, honestly its like this, if you don't get the job who care's? More will come along, I just do the best I can and hope it works out. Sure I'm nerves, but sometimes I notice the interviewer is even more nervous than I am, and that's oddly comforting. Everyone's nervous.
@Muse4apoem Listening to music helps me especially when the song is catchy or I can really relate to it. I t can be the beat or the lyrics. I believe that would help me in an interview.
Take a deep breath and walk in with the mindset of they choose you for a reason.
@Davidhanson1990 love that answer 🥰💜
I take an ice cold shower as soon as I wake up to blunt my anxiety for the day.
