Takis are great but if I eat an entire bag (which has been known to happen) it feels like I'm digesting a lot cigar (I have IBS). I liked Star wars episodes 1-6 and the mandalorian series (didn't watch the movie but I heard it's not great)
I liked the movie but it was a little disappointing because it didn't really move the characters along at all. It wasn't as good as the show.
Have you ever read any of the Star Wars books? They're really good 👍

Andor was decent. I definitely liked mando a lot more. Strange because Rogue 1 wast favorite of all the. Modern episodes. I did read a star wars book and it was great. I can't remember the name but they were trapped on a destroyed with a bunch of Zombies.
I know it wasn't for everyone but I really like Ahsoka too. Also strange because I never got into the clone wars animated series. I like the kind of pure-of-heart warrior of light thing she has going on (purified light sabers etc). I feel like it's a trope that's commonly sidelined for more morally gray characters. It's cool to have someone like that to look up to, even if they're fictional
I'm actually reading the Zombie one right now, Death Troopers. It's pretty good. I really like Revan and The Thrawn trilogy. Also Maul Shadow Hunter is really good.
I really like all of Star Wars. I even enjoy the sequels though I know a lot of people don't. I prefer the Legends Time Line but I like both of them. You might like Rebels if you liked Ashoka though season 1 has quite a bit of filler. I'm also watching the droid show from the 80's. It's pretty cheesy but it's fun and I like how C3PO's original voice actor is in it.
Have you seen the original 2003 2d Clone Wars mini series? It's really good... Sorry I'm a nerd 😄

Death Troopers! That was the one. Good fun. I do read a lot and just got a kindle so maybe I'll check out the Thrawn Trilogy since their visiting that storyline in Ahsoka.
I loved the prequels which I guess is unpopular opinion but I was a young teenager when they came out so how could I not. No shame in hating the sequels, you're allowed to like whatever you want, even when (or maybe even especially when), you feel like you're not supposed to. They didn't hit me the same probably because I was an adult when they came out. I was really hoping the Ro (I think is her name) would go full on sith at the end of episode 9. I left the theater early on that one because of a panic attack and remember asking my cousin if that had happened. That would have redeemed the sequels for me but oh well.
If you're talking about the animated series of the clone wars (where Ahsoka is originally from) I did try to watch (again as an adult, and again not really able to get into it). I'm really picky and basically unless it's like one of the three or four shows I've ever watched and enjoyed I didn't enjoy get into it
Definitely no need to apologize for being a nerd. Nerd is just slang for someone that likes to read books and it's something to be proud of, not ashamed of if you ask me

There was a clone wars mini series that came out before The one with Ashoka. It's hand drawn and 2d. I think it's on Disney plus. It's vibe is very similar to the prequels and I think you'd like it.

Oh no I didn't realize there was a different series titled the clone wars. I will have to check it out.
Also the part where I said "again" twice read differently than when I typed it. I was trying to say: similarly to my experience with the sequels I felt like I watched them too late in life.

I feel like I was the perfect age for the sequels. I watched the force Awakens in theaters when I was 11 in theaters and loved it!
I'm a really big Star Wars fan. I could legit talk about it all day and not be bored. I even like the really obscure 80's Droid Show and Ewok movies.

Empire Strikes Back was hands down the best one. It gives me so much nostalgia I wish I could replay my childhood to watch it again for the first time.
I think I was about 11 when Episode 1 came out, so perfect timing.
I haven't heard of the 80's one / droid show but I can relate to obsessing about some really obscure stuff
Here's my favorite soundtrack. It was on the Shadows of the Empire N64 game on the junk world (as well as in Empire Strikes Back). But in the level you fought the bounty hunter robot and it was terrifying and really hard

That's a great song lol. I've read the Shadows of the Empire book but never played the game. Have you played any other games? I really like Kotor though I'm struggling getting passed a boss fight that happens late in the game. I also really like all the Battlefront games and Jedi Fallen order. I've been playing Dark Forces recently which is pretty good.
I love Episode 1 btw. I saw the film when they released it in theaters in 3D. I think that was actually the first movie I saw in theaters lol.

The only other one I've played was Knights of the Old Republic and that was a long long time ago. I heard they're doing a remake though which is pretty cool. I just looked into it I guess it's in active development and we might see a reveal by the end of the year
They also announced a sequel as well. I just hope it actually gets made. Lucas film seems to announce a lot of projects then cancel them

Yeah the sequel looks really cool but realistically I'll never play it. I only ever play video games once a week with my family on *** for about two hours. I used to love playing games but I guess I kind of grew out of it. with the sequel being single player that kind of puts it out of my scope.
Though I really want to force myself to play the FF7 remakes since FF7 was my favorite when I was a kid. Otherwise I'm just waiting for PoE II to release
I totally get that. I only play video games once in awhile when one really catches my attention. And when I do it takes attention away from stuff I'd rather do like do art or read

To be honest I kind of have to force myself to sit there for game night with my family. I like the social component of keeping up with them in kind of a group call setting but the actual gaming is hard to sit through
I'm kinda the opposite lol. I can get into doing something with my family but I hate talking to them.

My family can certainly be rough around the edges and we don't agree on everything but to my family is super, super important. Friends and girlfriends have come and gone but my family (despite their flaws) have always been there. My mom is like a straight up psycho but she's a bit of an outlier. I still love her I just keep my distance
Yeah, idk... I hope I feel better eventually about my family or things change but they're very controlling and neglected me as a kid.
I've been trying to forgive them but they still act the same way they used to even though I've been trying to fix things... I love them but I can't help but feeling lonely around them... I'm honestly cutting off my aunts and uncles completely now because they're horrible people ingeneral but I hope my parents and siblings will come around enough eventually.
I definitely understand loving people but keeping them at a distance. Sometimes we need to protect ourselves.
