Ok I know I'm not normal, I don't look like other girls my age 😞 my spine is broken my legs were amputated. I'm missing some fingers on both hands. Yep! I'm a freak. And I'm willing to accept that. But in here on cups please let this be my safe place, don't make comments on how I look. Or be mean about my past. Please just let me be 😞

I’m still sort of new here and not as active as others, but I’ve seen a few of your posts, and maybe you’ve had enough replies but I hope it’s ok if I add one more.
First, I want to thank you for all the sweet and funny threads you make asking random questions. Maybe you already know this, but I thought I would tell you that for me, they really make me smile. I don’t want to talk about myself much here, just to say that I don’t have much support off here, and more than once your sense of humor has really lifted my spirits. I’ve been trying to find the right place to thank you for this. You have made a difference in my life.
I’m saddened to hear that anyone would make you feel sad about your looks, disabilities, past, or anything. You are beautiful, inside and out. I’ve don’t have to know you in person to see this. You have mentioned in some posts learning things about the world. Sometimes….. people are mean. Sometimes they intend to be, hopefully most of the time they don’t. Sometimes they might use you a little bit, and start to expect more of you. And get mad at you for not doing enough for them. Sometimes they might say something mean to you so they feel better about themselves. That doesn’t make it ok, but I think it happens a lot. What I’m trying to say is, no matter what is in their mind at the time, none of it is actually about you. None of it is true of the person you are. I really hope that people here don’t make you feel bad, whether they mean to or not. We all have so much more on our minds than anyone else can ever fully understand. You are never responsible for someone else’s unhappiness. We are so much more complicated than that. You do so much for others, the bad things are what they’re dealing with.
I may not be making any sense. I am replying to many threads here in this one. I just wanted to express my appreciation for you as a person and help lift you up when some days get tough. People are people here, just as in the world. We all have our issues. You are amazing in more ways than anyone can count, just because you’re you. And no one else can bring exactly what you do to the world!
