Victories

Victories can come in big or small, personal or professional life. What is one victory you can celebrate today?

My victory today was that I made an appointment to see a friend by myself without any help 😊😊

Congratulations 🥰💕
@SmileyRainbow I had a bad breakup I couldn’t cope with my exs harmful addictions I loved her in beginning and we grew apart. I’ve since tried reconnecting and she is unresponsive. I don’t think she understands why we broke up or how things are different now. I just want to find a person who can help me reorient my life so I can move forward. I don’t want to keep obsessing over the past.
@versatileMaple9100 Experiences like those are hard to process and get past for sure. It sounds like you have good goals for your future, though. Knowing that you want to reorient and live a better life is valuable. It's a small victory, maybe.

That sounds very hard to "move past" someone you cared for (and still do care for) and they are not doing well. You can hold onto that feeling, whether it be grief or sadness (just examples) and also what else you want in your life now. How do you want your life to be like or different?

A victory for today is prioritizing my physical well being in various ways! Recovering from surgery is throwing me for a loop on understand what I can do from day to do, as well as how much energy a task might take out of me.
