Which is better?
I recall being presented this question a while back, but it still comes into my mind from time to time.
Which is a better life to lead? Having no ambition in life, and meeting that goal, or having high ambitions in life but never meeting them?
@Krank I think no ambition but still achieving is the better life 💖 it's like expectations, I mean when you expect to much you'll get let down. If you have no expectations then everything is a bonus💖
I too approve the above message. Living in present is better than thinking about future.

I think aiming high and falling short is often more fulfilling than coasting through life without much drive. The journey of striving for excellence can be just as valuable as the destination itself.
High ambitions and never meeting them. Maybe discouraging at times for those of us who like to check off boxes when things are complete. But my personal opinion is that I will accomplish more setting high ambitions. Because I am always chasing them even if I never reach it. If I set lower and accomplish it then I stop.
Well, the question is: do YOU want to have ambition for your life? Or maybe better question: can YOU live without ambition? There is no right or wrong because each person has their own path. So the question "what is better, life with or without ambition" -> the answer depends on what is better for you right here and right now. And then use it as a compass to guild your life. I hope you find your own answer soon.
And if you want my own opinion: there was a time in my youth I had kinda high ambitions. But now I can live without it. Ambitions aren't bad, even if they are too high to reach sometimes. But it shows what you really want. It's like a guiding star 🌟, you see where it is to follow but you may not reach. It's still beautiful in some way to look at.
No ambition but meeting that goal would feel like a better life. Although it may sound bad. I think its more to not set too high expectations and manage what you can actually manage. Not everything is in your control.
And based on a song lyric. Lucy Spraggan. Fight for it
'Someone said 'reach for the stars' but I reach for the clouds
So if I fall, at least I know I'm back on the ground'
@Krank honestly, the better life is the one with high ambitions, even if they’re never met. i'd say so because striving for smthn gives our lives some sort of direction, depth, and meaning, even in failure. i believe that a person who reaches for more, even if they end up falling short, experiences things like growth, challenge, and like basically the richness of trying. there’s definitely a kinda beauty in the journey, and often, who you become along the way matters more than what you achieve. a life without ambition might be peaceful, but peace without purpose can become emptiness for many so yeah, it's better to aim high and fall short than to never aim at all.

Why choose ....many people can have both. The outcomes can vary. Life happens and can derail the best laid plans of the ambitious. or life can inspire someone without any ambitions to develop them.
I have known people who had high ambition and were so driven or focused they missed out on things they regret. I also have known some with no direction find their way almost be accident then wonder how far they could have gone if they had set expectations higher.
I think high ambitions, because it's not about the reward, it's about the journey.
Let's be real, how many people do we know and respect that actually achieved their final goal? None. Because we appreciate investment and dedication, and the proof of that is little achievements, so... a fine job, a fine car, a fine family, or whatever it is... but everyone has a "final goal" that usually it's never the final. So what people apreciate, and what makes us as humans grow is the effort of climbing to the top. Because if you think about it, humans never meet an objective "goal", but only made little steps by working. So... the sole fact of having that ambition and spreading it is more of a goal than reaching whatever goal you're looking for in life.

Having high ambition while staying grounded 🥰 It's better to try and not succeed then to do nothing at all 💜
