It's funny how people want you to be expansive and open about your emotions until you cry in front of them or show how angry and/or frustrated you feel.

Yes, as if you were participating in their reality show. So many people are reserved or private with their emotions and do not want to be part of a public showing. Making an exhibition of someone's emotions is blatantly disrespectful.

Hello Eater, welcome to 7 Cups. We are here to listen (read) to you, and support you. I couldn't help stop by here and see what the "Wolf Mask" had to say.

You are quite right by the way. People want you, in general, to be open and expressive until that forces it's way into their comfort zone. When that happens they get all shocked and nervous. Why? Because they are probably realising just how close to that point they are themselves.

Here, at 7 Cups you CAN express yourself without fear of judgement. here you will find caring and compassionate souls who want to help you in whatever small way they can.

I would encourage you to drop in to the "Sharing Circle" and express yourself freely there.
If you would prefer you can take advantage of chats with individual Listeners. We are trained, by 7 Cups, to engage with all persons across a range of subjects and provide more intensive supporT.

Just as a little aside;
In North American Indigenous folklore, the wolf spirit symbolizes loyalty, strong family bonds, deep intelligence, cooperation, and powerful medicine. Tribes often viewed the wolf as a teacher, pathfinder, or sacred kinsman rather than a villain.

7 cups has different account types with different roles. Listeners are here to support others. It's not appropriate for a listener to seek support via a 1-1 chat or in the Sharing Circle.

Listeners are encouraged to have a member account, and to keep that distinct and separate from their listener account.

It seems confusing for a listener to encourage another listener to make use of things that 7 cups provides for members.

@AffyAvo

Understood my friend, I sometimes forget which role I am actually in. I shall do my best to make sure that it does not happen again.
Namaste,
