im terrified.
okay so i just broke a mirror, and when i told my mom (who is extremely superstitious), she kept on saying it would bring bad luck. and some other ppl are saying i will be fine which is what i think, but ive still been worrying. can anyone reassure me about this or give me some tips to reverse the luck asap?? thanks!! <3
@bx3 I think that you're terrified for such a small reason. In my culture, breaking the mirror means that economic prosperity is going to come very soon. (Makes any sense? Absolutely No. Neither the belief that breaking the mirror is bad luck)
Just apologise to mom and say to her that you'll never do this again
@bx3 In a cent times it was said that breaking a mirror would bring you seven years of bad luck. Back then, ordering a new mirror could take a long time. But because of today’s ordering/shipping technology we can order a new mirror in minutes, so the standard 7 years of bad luck has been reduced to 7 minutes. Of course, Amazon might experience slight delays due to supply chain issues, so your bad luck may last up to but no more than 11 minutes. To reduce the chance of bad luck in the future, simply pay $7.95 extra for extended product warranty.
I hope that made you laugh
I guarantee that any bad luck you may experience is NOT due to a broken mirror.

Hi, bx,
I think your mom is trying to transfer what was implanted in her mind by her parents into your mind. That is what our parents do. It's up to you to recognize that and recognize that it is up to you to grow mentally. That's why you're here, right? You want to grow mentally. So this is one of those situations where you can love your parents but not repeat their mental errors. It's an odd feeling to step into a space where you are growing in a way that benefits you, but your parents have not taught you it is ok to be. Does that make sense? I've been in that space. Trust your gut. You're growing. We're all proud of you.

In moments like these, it might help to remember that superstitions are based on beliefs and not necessarily grounded in reality. Accidents happen and you have the ability to shape your own luck through your actions and mindset.
If you're feeling uneasy, you could consider engaging in symbolic actions that are believed to reverse bad luck in certain superstitions. For example, burying the broken mirror pieces in the ground or throwing salt over your shoulder are actions that some people believe can help ward off potential bad luck. These actions are purely symbolic and don't have a tangible impact on your luck.
No such thing. If you keep thinking something bad will happen nature itself and “good and bad” eventually a bad thing will happen. Just pray in the times you feel afraid but don’t dwell on bad luck. I’ve went through the same thing one year and googled everything on it because my mother did the same. It’s their old beliefs. Don’t speak it into existence or think it’s true. Look forward to seeing good things and hearing good things and going through good things. ❤️
@bx3
The idea of breaking a mirror causing bad luck is rooted in superstition and folklore, rather than empirical evidence. From a scientific standpoint, there's no inherent property in a broken mirror that would directly cause bad luck.
In reality, what matters most is how you handle the situation practically and safely. If you've broken a mirror, focus on cleaning up the broken glass to prevent any physical harm to yourself or others. Once that's done, it's also a good opportunity to remind ourselves that accidents happen, and their outcomes are not determined by superstition but by our actions.
@bx3
hockas pokas bad luck begon mother ***
that should work but if you worry then you'll think any bad thing will be because of that and show proof of this superstition
