I have been getting really stressed this last week again for a variety of reasons, some days are fine but others are bad. Anyways I learned something today that is shaking me, I can't talk about it yet (that's not up for debate). I just need to talk to people if you can?

Well you sure seem like an expert enough! I'm a musician so I love everything. I am metalhead at heart but I love 90s alternative because I grew up with it. I'm a drummer so a lot of prog metal. Lol. But I love everything from Motown to chiptune.
Do you just sing as a hobby? Tell me about that. I was a choir boy in school.
I would never try to pull anything out of in organically bud. Only if you feel comfortable talking about something, am I comfortable. But I'm always here! 😊. No rush or expectations.

lol thanks! musicians are fun to be around! Those can be some fun genres, I like basically every but rap, (I don't mind a little rap but not just rap) "Motown to chiptune." I am really tired and those sound familiar but brain isn't placing them
I just sing in church, and when I play music from my phone. Also love J-pop music. Choir sounds fun but I was homeschooled so didn't get that.

J-pop is great. When I was 17 I went to NYC to see kyary pamyu pamyu. That was amazing! The lady Gaga of Japan. Lol.

"Choir hymns are tough." Pure truth!! I generally sing base, I struggle with some sections of tenor (not as much anymore) but can sing the high parts of tenor and falsetto above. (Once again not a expert so take everything with a grain or shaker of salt)

What are your thoughts on public school/private school/homeschooling?

That's a tough one, there are advantages and disadvantages to both. Currently my opinion is homeschooling is better if the parents/or teacher can be consistent and strict enough with the child. I think the main advantage to public schools is the social interaction and community that children can make together, and teachers possibly having more expertises in a subject. But as schools are in America currently, or the little I know/remember I would definitely say homeschooling should be better. There are obviously so many exceptions and variables that can change everything but I am trying to go with the averages I know of and personally experience with both. ;)

@jesusredeemedme2425 I hated homeschooling as a child, because it wasn't schooling it was free child labor around the farm and home. I had to teach myself how to read and write, my pronunciation is terrible still, and it has caused me social problems because I never made friends or knew other people really. At least in school you might have a chance to find a better way to cope with life. I don't talk with people in real life, it's been almost a year since I've spoken to someone different than the necessary people.

That's a weird one, I was given the nickname 'Bear' when I was a infant because I growled a lot and it rhymed with my name and other stuff. So for the last 19 years of my life Bear has basically been a second name for me, honestly there were/are times I respond to beat better than my given name.
As for the two sevens in my username, I was in a weird/very bad place when I first made a account on cups so made a name that felt like me (hence Bear) but also wasn't my legal name, also for the sevens I like the number, it's a good number, I don't always remember all the reasons, but a good one is God made the world in 6 days and rested the seventh, so perhaps I am trying to rest here on cups? Idk maybe I am seeing meaning in something random lol

Ahh well I guess technically it's rhymes with a nickname that is just a shortened part of my name, I kinda forgot that.
Funny story: I have actually forgotten my real name before, I was taking a test late a night and finished it in like 10-15 minutes. After I finish I look up at the top and stared for like 20 minutes at the 'write your name' section of the test before I could remember my actual name. At that point few people actually used my legal name, and instead used one of like 2-4 nicknames or just talked without a name. So I didn't get regular reminders as for what it was lol.

Bear is a sweet nickname. Was my favorite animal growing up. Tough and strong but super protective of their family and group. All I know is 7s are lucky. I think it's cool how you got your name.
My nickname growing up was Casper because of how white I was. Not as cool but I loved Casper the friendly ghost.

No, I only got cups a few months after I turned 18, and I turned 19 a few weeks ago, but I have gotten a truck so that's a lot of documentation to sign and there was a lot happening this year that just is like new people or stuff ? Lol

Talking to people is great. You'll meet some amazing ones out there. The biggest thing is knowing which ones are going to hurt you. That's the tough part of being an adult in that situation. You choose who you keep in your life and sometimes you make the wrong choice. I have a few times and that's a sting that stays for a while.

I leaned into my awkward. I don't keep many friends but That's because close friends are really rare in my experience. Someone that actually finds you genuinely interesting and special. I see everyone that way and I can make people feel awkward.
You have your brother in law that stayed! That's awesome though. Losing friends is terrible. Especially if you've spent a lot of time with them. You're a cool person. You'll find your circle. You got 2 right here already! We can all be awkward together.

Honestly, idk if I'm ever gonna truly grow up. I'm good at doing adult stuff but adulting to me always seemed like getting rid of that child like wonder. That's kind of all I am. I get depressed if I live in adult only mode too long.
I guess my answer would be thinking about things too hard and being alone as an adult. For sure.

My thoughts are always racing and overlapping and cutting each other off, part of why I am here tonight they were getting worse tonight and Its better when typing cuz then at least one of the voices is focused rather than a tornado

You should try journaling. Specifically non stop thought journaling. There's another name for it but I'm talking about just writing down your thoughts raw as they come to you. It might come out sounding like a madmans journal but to get those out and not have them circling in your head was a huge help for me. I always have an inner monologue going and I've learned to be best friends with that guy talking over everything I do and say. Coming here to talk helps too. Just putting thoughts into words and speaking or writing them helps your head think of them a different way in my experience. Plus I realized I was unintentionally ignoring my inner self.
I had terrible panic attacks and my thoughts seemed like gibberish until I started grasping onto them to slow them down. I'm a hyper person in a mellow person's body. Idk. Dealing with your inner self being your robin to your outer selfs batman is a struggle.

I have tried that before but got frustrated cuz I couldn't type or write (or speak for a recording) as fast as my thoughts so I would have to go back and try to rethink it to write it and then it becomes different and frustrating and I am losing so many thoughts, but since cups I have gotten a slightly better grasp how to type my thoughts out, so am planning on trying that again. Thank you for you suggest it is very accurate and thoughtful!

We're all a mix of all those. The biggest thing is is one of those making life harder for you which is what is important to talk to a doctor about. I live with my ADD. I have meds for it but not good to take all the time and it's always good to be your unmedicated self if you can. Not always doable but if you can!
