Hey everyone, welcome to my Appreciation Corner! I hope that all of you are doing well. This is the thread where I will be appreciating a few people each week. I was given this wonderful opportunity through the GLDD academy program. I am truly grateful to the program for giving me the chance to do something this wonderful. 7 cups is such a special place for me and I am so thankful for each and every one of you. You are all so special and I want you to know that what you do is amazing!
@Hope - Hi Hope! I want to thank you for everything you do here on 7 cups and for being such an amazing person. Overseeing the academy is definitely not an easy task, but you do such a great job at it and you truly deserve that position. I know that if I ever have any questions, I can always reach out to you in PMs and you'll be there to help me out. In the past week, I've gotten to talk to you in the rooms multiple times and the conversations were all so much fun. Having you take part in the Icebreakers session I hosted was amazing, I loved how excited you got about the 'family traditions' question. Thank you for being your wonderful self, I truly appreciate you!
@ASilentObserver - Hey Obs! I want to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you contribute to the 7 cups community. You do so much here, and everything you do helps make 7 cups a better place. It's comforting to know that I can reach out to you in PMs if I ever have any questions and can always expect a warm reply back. I remember you once explained the significance of your profile picture. I always loved the elephant and how adorable it was, but from that day, it became so much more special. That situation also showed me how amazing the way you look at things is, and that became another one of the many reasons that I respect you. You are a wonderful person, and I want you to know how much I appreciate you :)
@Mamtasha22 - Tashaaa, where do I even start? Thank you for absolutely everything, I can't explain how much I appreciate you, it's just not possible to put it into words. You are soooo special to me and I really do want you to know that. Whether it's hosting our Icebreakers session, coming to you so I can get a room opened (my go-to doorkeeper hehe), or just casually chatting with you in TL, every moment I spend with you is such a joy. I knew how amazing you were from the moment I joined as a listener. You are such a caring, warm, and funny person, I just love your energy. Thank you for always being there for me. Along with alllll of that, I want to thank you for everything you do here. You contribute so much to the community through your many roles, thank you for helping to make it a better place each and every day. I could keep going, but this message is going to end up being way too long, so I'll wrap it up hehe. I appreciate you so so so much, thank you <3
@neonNorth4202 - Hey Lievvv, welcome to my appreciation corner. Thank you thank you thank youuu for being you (that was a lot of yous in one sentence). There are so many things I have to appreciate you for, so let's get started. Firstly, you are such an amazing friend, I enjoy every one of our conversations so much. You know just what to say to make me laugh and it's so much fun to be around you. You're so friendly, kind, welcoming, and someone that I can talk to so easily. I love all of the amazing stories that you tell me and how you listen to all of mine even when they get long and boring. When we're talking, if I ever mention that I'm about to host a session, you make sure to be there to come and support me. It honestly means so much to me that you take the time to do this, so thank you. And of course, thank you for inviting me to be a part of the Titans hehe. I just want you to know how much I truly appreciate you, how great of a friend you are to me, and everything you do for the community <3
@ShiningStars1 - Starssss, hey hey! It is now your turn to be appreciated by me hehe. I remember the first day we talked was when I reached out to you cause you were the one Titan that I hadn't talked to much. I'm honestly so happy that I did that because you are one of the sweetest people I know. I love every conversation I have with you, whether it's in PMs or the rooms. It's always great to have you attend the sessions I host because you get involved and take the time to give really nice answers to all the questions. If I'm ever trying to figure something out on Cups, you always try to help out without me having to even ask you. I'm really grateful to have you as a friend here. Just like Starfire is always there for Silkie, I know that I can always rely on you for anything (I had to add something related to Starfire and Silkie). I just want to thank you for being there for me, I really really appreciate you! <3
@SeriouslyLey123 - Hey Leyyy! You were one of the first people I got close to after I joined as a listener, and I'm extremelyyyy grateful for becoming friends with you. I got to learn so much about you the first day we started talking since we were planning out your 7 cups birthday party, and I can't express how special that conversation was to me. It was really cool to see how many things we related upon, and I think that was definitely something that brought us closer. You're such an amazing person, and every chance I get to talk to you is so much fun. I love your spirit and the energy that you bring into all of the chats you're in. I am sooo thankful to have you here. As I was settling into the community, you were there for me as a friend and that just made it all so much easier. Thank you so so so much for everything, I really do appreciate you <3

Paaap! You are truly a sweetheart. Sorry for the late response. This is a really good idea!! But when we met, I kinda hung around out of obligation because I knew how I felt when I just joined and others became my friend to help me out. But now that I've known you for a bit, I'm really happy I've been able to call you a friend!

@Bubbles2025 - Hey Bubbles! When I was new as a listener, I saw you in TL and thought you were so sweet. I decided to reach out to you in PMs and through that, I became your mentee. I'm so glad that I reached out to you that day because I wouldn't have gotten the chance to have you as my mentor otherwise. You have been so important to me through my journey so far, and I know that your importance won't change even as I progress further. You are so special to me, and I want to thank you for being so supportive and helpful. No matter what question it is, I know that I can always reach out to you and expect a really kind and helpful reply back. You have introduced so many new opportunities to me and guided me each step of the way. Along with all of that, you're so fun to talk to. @imlistening01 - Heyy S! You're one of the sweetest, most supportive people I know and I just want to let you know that I'm really thankful for getting to know you. Co-hosting the anxiety sessions with you has been so much fun, I'm so glad that you signed up for that slot. Seeing your replies to everyone's answers is amazing because you put so much thought and love into every reply. This isn't just for our session, but it's also for any other one of yours that I happen to attend. After our sessions, you always come to PMs and leave me a message and that honestly means so much to me. You're such an understanding and kind person, and I find that to be super special about you. Even before we started hosting together, I would often see you around the chatrooms, whether it was for a specific session or you just hanging out for a casual conversation. I really do enjoy talking to you and spending time with you. I just want to thank you for being your wonderful self, and I want you to know that I appreciate you a ton! <3
@sophiasanae - Sophiaaa, hey! I think you were actually the first listener that I saw when I joined 7cups because you were the first one on the Mentors list. I remember reading your bio and thinking that you were such a sweet person. Turns out that my first impression of you happened to be the right one. Somehow, you ended up reaching out to me a little later. I always found this coincidence to be soo cool, and I am honestly so glad that we met that day. Every time we talk in PMs, your replies are all so kind and caring and it's honestly extremely special. Talking to you is always such a joy because you're such a wonderful person. When you reached out to me regarding the Teen Discussions team, you guided me through everything so well and helped me out so much. You gave me a ton of helpful links, which I have saved till today, and that entire conversation was really memorable to me. When I had to fill out the badge form and there were some technical difficulties, you were really understanding and I am really thankful for that. To this day, if I have any questions about anything, I know that I can always reach out to you. Also, fun fact, I always loved your bio and the colors you used. Thank you for being so amazing, I really really appreciate you <3
@iamsidhere - Hiii Sid! I've known you for quite a while now, I think we actually connected when I was closer to the beginning of my listening journey. I just wanted to let you know how special you are to me. All of our super long conversations where we just talked for hours mean so much to me. It's always nice to learn new things about you because you're a wonderful person. Having you there for me as a friend through my time here has been so great, and I want to thank you for everything. Every time you see me in a chatroom, the way you say hi to me seems so enthusiastic and caring, and I really am thankful for that. You are so supportive, kind, and just such a sweet person in general. You're so determined to achieve what you truly want and put a lot of effort into it, and I honestly find that really inspiring. @ve3ciel - Hey Veeee! So throughout this past week, you've attended so many of the sessions that I hosted and it was amazing to have you there. It's such a joy to get to talk to you and have you be a part of the sessions. Your replies to all the riddles were iconic and I will never forget some of those answers 😂. You're such an amazing person, and I really want you to know that. Any time I see you in a room, it makes me want to stay, and every time I see you join a room that I'm already in, I get a boost of excitement. I really enjoy seeing you around 7cups and it's amazing to see that you're now taking on new roles such as becoming a Room Supporter. I can't wait for the next session I host that you attend, it's going to be so much fun to see how you answer the questions and what you will say to keep us laughing and happy the whole time. You're such a sweet person in general, no wonder you're such an amazing leader as well! I absolutely love the sessions that you host. They're really fun and engaging, and the fact that you're a wonderful host makes it way better. It always feels like a safe space when you're in the room/during your sessions because you're so great at filling the rooms with your kind and welcoming aura that draws people in and makes everyone comfortable being themselves. That alone plays a huge role in making the participation in the room easier, and I think that's mostly what helps me be myself in your sessions. You're a real inspiration, and I genuinely appreciate you and all of your efforts. :) I get really excited whenever you're around or hosting another amazing session, thank you so much for being you. <3
