📜 PAT History
When did PAT (Peer Appreciation Team) begin?
It began with the thought that we have awesome qualities to learn from one another.
What happened after that?
@Mango3 helped name the program as Peer Appreciation Program, @fristo created the peer appreciation form, started the program thread, and @bubblingbreeze14 started the dashboard for the form responses!
Okay, good. Then?
@GloriaD and @Sunisshiningandsoareyou joined. Not only joined the team, but they led the team. We were 4 leaders (as 4 pillars): Gloria, Fristo, Sun, and Breeze!
Before you tell any further, tell me why you are telling all this.
It's fun to recount (:
Okay, won't interfere with your fun. Continue.
More team members kept joining us and we were using graphics (following one another's example) to make really pleasant appreciation posts. The person appreciated and the appreciator loved to visit the post made. Happiness was being generated every day in the program thread and the hearts of the visitors.
Cool, cool, so? That's it?
@WarmLightXO joined the team. Not only joined but they proved to be an excellent team member. They went on to lead the appreciation program and did it so delightfully until they took a break from cups. We miss them.
Who are smile spreaders?
Our team members are called smile spreaders. I can't remember, but I think it was Gloria who first named our team members as smile spreaders. A few months later even the smile spreader badge was created (that was a huge success for us).
There are so many more wonderful smile spreaders who contributed so much to the growth of the project in a variety of ways. Why are you not mentioning them?
No, because 2 reasons. One, I am writing with an ink pen and the ink is getting over (the ink pot's empty too). Two, may they be upset with me for not mentioning them and return to our team soon and ask for compensation 😀
Hm, fristo, it's hard to understand you sometimes.
Thanks for asking me about the PAT History and letting me vent! I LOVE to vent about things special, and this is a special program that happened to happen. Good things happen by themselves, I always believe. We are just the instruments!
I am so thankful for my current and amazing co-leader @heathermarie95 Got to say, at every new phase of the project, someone or the other stepped up and ensured its stable progress!!

@Fristo awww, thank you for this interview. It is so cool to learn about the programs history 🌻
@sadcat13
I agree :)
@Fristo
i love this 🥺🌈
@Fristo
Aww love this, Fristo, thank youu for sharing, it's always so much fun recollecting the beautiful moments spent here with y'all wonderful people. This feels like one of those "remember when?..." conversations amongst old friends haha. I'm imagining us sitting around a bonfire, waiting for the s'mores to get all toasty and add more sweetness to our togetherness.🥰

Sooo proud of the Peer Appreciation Program (and Team, everyone ever involved in making it what it is today). Our "labor of love" which is so dearly loved by the entire community and is continuously spreading soooo many smiles. Grateful for each one of you!🥰
@Fristo
so happy to be part of this 🥺
