PAT Meeting - October 2023
Hi, hi, team! I have so many updates, so many thoughts, and so much good news to tell you!
Update 1: A shout-out to @heathermarie95 for helping me so much in leading our Peer Appreciation Program! They are so quick learner and loves to get involved more! So happy working with them and training them in more aspects. A new PAT Leader is in the making!
Update 2: Team, I was thinking over something, and need your suggestions on it:
How would it be if a smile spreader could substitute graphics with:
1) A handwritten note for the appreciator and the appreciated.
2) A handmade drawing!
3) A kind vocaroo (audio) message!
So a smile spreader (or a team applicant) who isn't too comfortable making graphics could instead do either of 1), 2), or 3) mentioned above! For 1) and 2) they just click a clear pic of their handwritten note or handmade drawing and add it to their appreciation post!
What do you say?!
Good News 1: I worked a lot in trying to take our appreciation form to the next level! Would you like to review it and give your feedback?
Good News 2: More Smile Spreaders are on the way! But wait! Need your help here too. Would you like to help by pming one cups friend of yours every week and inviting them to the smile spreader role? That would be amazing for us!
Good News 3: Today is Anna's Birthday! Wish them here.
That's all I guess, but only for now! I love to connect with you all and I feel full of gratitude for having a Peer Appreciation Team as a part of my life! No matter how much I am able to do for it, it would still be very little compared to the joy I get by doing things for it and seeing it progress and bloom!

@Fristo More choices 😋, more creative ways 😊 to express and present the gratitude is always great 😁 As long as the current framework stays. For eg, I preferred the colour options 🔴💙💚 that appreciators gave us to work with. We removed that feature when we added virtual gifts. The current system works for me and I hope nothing is removed this time, and I'd also love to explore voice messages, and hand-made drawings! It's a bit tedious for me to write a hand-made note as I prefer typing in general, but if it's easier for anyone else, more than welcome. I'd love to see that 🤗 maybe try it myself. Kudos, frisbee and heather :)
I'd also let people know that with our Canvo pro subscription, you can take design tutorials on the website for free on the Design School. It will give you skills you may need for your class, work, and so on. ^ ^
oh interesting. i didnt know that course was a thing. thanks for sharing that 😀
@grimsmark8 I am going to go to this school!
@Fristo @heathermarie95
Thank you to everyone for their dedicated efforts 💕
For different ways of making appreciation posts: I like having the option to choose from but as Charlie bear said I hope the current thing stays same and there's no mandatory new changes introduced... not everyone is comfy with voice notes and handwritten stuff 😮 but the option is nice to have if someone wants to try as we do have so many talented people in PAT 💕
@Optimisticempath nothing mandatory, just an option available for the smile spreaders (present or future) who aren't so comfortable with making the graphics!
@Fristo sounds good then
