@Cheeryliz - Two things come to mind for me. You can either try acceptance, which will mean that instead of kicking against whatever is in your mind, you allow it to be there, feel all the difficult emotions that come with it, notice what it feels like, go through the experience. But I realise that this can be very difficult and if you feel you need to rather try something else you can try the "leaves on a stream" exercise. In this exercise you imagine yourself next to a stream with many autumn leaves floating away on it. In your hand you have a magic wand and every time that image comes up you just take it out of your mind with the wand, place it on one of the leaves and let it float away. Doesn't matter how many times it comes back, you just use your wand and see it floating away. Both of these are ideas you'll find on the 7 Cups website. You can also try the Getting Unstuck self-help guide. You can find it if you click on My Path --> Self-help guides.

Wow! 7 cups is really truly amazing I was is such a dark place .. I'm SLOWLY BUT getting better , I feel happier and more alive I am also using other apps and a few other methods to help get rid depression! (Stress & Anxiety as well ) I'm at 37 so far and I love this app VERY helpful. What I've learned is to ALWAYS HAVE FAITH AND A OPEN MIND to things that they will get better and easier . BUT MOST OF ALL IS TO BE HONEST REAL AND LOYAL ALSO TO BE VERY THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL of what you have and who you have in life. I'm learning so much .

The badges, points, statistics and streak can all be very positive tools to motivate you and encourage you to do things and explore parts of the site that you might not otherwise have taken part in. BUT I believe that they should not rule you. Use the site in the way that helps you best. Take your ques from your own mind, body and spirit - not from statistics. For example, if you know you need a day or so away from the site - take that time for yourself - do not think "Oh, but I'll mess up my streak". I am sure that all these things are here to help us, not rule us. Do what you know is best for you.

at level 10, I'm finally realizing that I'm worthy of help and I deserve to be here - it's just a matter of seeking the help I need, and making an effort to use the resources I have every day.
