Running from fears and difficult situations won't make them go away.

@lemonyellow Rightly said. Even though very difficult and uncomfortable, its better to face the situation and the outcome, and move forward. best wishes.

Step 20! Yay! I've learned to open up and not be afraid to connect... regardless of past hurtful experiences.

@freedomring Once u start opening up and connecting, u will realise that many are facing problems/situations and together it gives us strength to overcome.

My first significant milestone is beginning to master the electronic! Unlike most of you, Iam a computer and electronics immigrant, so this is not my natural frame of reference. But now that I am here, wow, I van address my second milestone: shattering my inner solitude! Coping in community is new. Yes, I have had coaches and counselors, snd I go to 12 step and support groups. So "I have Got it all" right? Well, breaking negative threads in my head id still a very solitary job.....at least util I became acquainted with 7 cups. Now, I can just reach out any time, day or night,, do a meditation, read or post. This is something that breaks the silence and prompts me to practice!

I have learned an important step to recognize abuse and I have matched it to my personal experience. That is recognizing a pattern of invalidation. Of being told that your experience is incorrect and inaccurate. And of being given a "correct" interpretation to replace your own.
