Opening up to others really helps, because they could be going through the same things as I am and we can help each other out.

Step 360 and feeling positive today. I have learned that it is probably better to do the steps on my Growth Path first thing in the morning. It is uplifting. What I can share is that I have felt more anxious at night and that is when I first searched for 7-cups and have continually used it at night. Today, I tried doing it (my growth path) just after my morning coffee and I felt really great. It was really and truly uplifting and helps set the tone for the rest of the day.

I've learned i've been letting my self lose all control just like i used too. But now i understand that evrything at this little moment. is ok. that i'm ok. I just let myself go crazy for a little bit that's all. But now i'm ready to regain that control, get back on track and make the most of this gift of life.

I've reached level 20 and I have found meditation is one of the best things that I have learned. I have found it helps center myself and avoid confrontations that would usually arise before they happen. I feel like I have to ability and tools to take on the complications of life.

STEP 310

I learned at this point of my long, tedious journey through recovery that I can be content with "my" best. That sounds so simplistic, but I have found that other people have their own "better" version of what my best should be, and look like. But, plain snd simple, MY best is MY best.

My best may look "mediocre to the professionals & para professionals (Voc Rehab, a Career Services job coach, & women at Dress Success) who are all helping me with my employment goals, but considering my disabilities, and battle with severe depression and PTSD, my best looks great to me. And that's what ultimately matters in the scope of reality.

I have found a little part-time job all on my own, with a resume I created (and they hated). I have secured a job that adds joy to my week days, and a little more money to my life. And, I did it by doing my best, and by being the best version of who I authentically, and deficitly am.

Though I am now employed, others still want, and push me to build a BETTER resume, to dress BETTER, to do my make up BETTER, to walk, talk, and interview BETTER, create a BETTER voice mail message, and a BETTER email address, and, for certain~ do it all to get a BETTER job. I am happy with my "new" job, and copacetic with my best efforts to survive and thrive...and ...is my idea of BETTER!

Thank you SO much for your kind & encouraging words. I needed to hear them tonight b/c I felt discouraged all day long. So thank you again! Your words were a gift I got to magically unwrap before going to bed. Don't forget what a difference you can make in a person's day...or life. You are a blessing!
