Super terrible night and started a bad day but really really trying. This OCD can be so hard, so lonely, so frustrating. I am pushing along though. I will get past it.
@ElChico

@ElChico
*hugs* It's hard, it can be. Keep on going, don't stop. It's amazing that you are still trying and fighting.
Step # 390
I learned that wanting to be like my former self was wrong. Even though I was more upbeat, I still had a lot of problems I wasn't addressing. I would rather be a much better person than how I am now. I want to be grateful for what I have, and to be loving, caring, beautiful inside/outside, and to be happy. That's what I need to live a better life.
I am grateful for what Vanders said, because it was very insightful. Thank you.
@RedPandaExpress88
We can't ever truly revert to who we were in the past, and same with all else that's already happened and has been moving on. All we can do sometimes is make ourselves anew when the time calls for it. Whatever goal and ideal you're aiming for, I hope it is what you need.
I like that shout out to @Vanders, and I agree that it was insightful. <3
Take care.
Thank you, @guidingMusic
I wish you well. 💕
@GlenM
i have learned that even when people are bitter to me, i cannot let that affect the way that i treat myself and others. spreading love and kindness even when someone may not be accepting to it will always be more productive than letting someone else's dark mood ruin the way that i love
@localkitten this is a very importamnt life lesson
Take time for myself
@Lostsoul2885 Taking time for yourself can be hard sometimes but it can really help! :)
I am trying but it seems nearly impossible @holly29
I am not alone in this struggle. @GlenM
@iloveyouanyway You are definitly not alone, We are here for you!
That even when everything sucks, you should ignore the suckiness and focus on the positive stuff😊
@Destiellovesyou When things are sucky it can really help trying to focus on the positive stuff - It's a brilliant attitude to have and you are doing great!
I've reached step 44 and I'm now Embraced 1! I am getting better at setting up boundaries both with others and myself. It has already made a huge impact on my happiness and self esteem
@Introvert1190 Well done you! That is wonderful to hear your happiness and self esteem have been boosted by setting boundaries - You are doing so well! Keep going! ![]()
Step 49! Last night I had a wonderful, funny chat with a Listener for the first time. I learned that it's perfectly OK to laugh when talking about your troubles - and people will still take you seriously. Also, I learned I had to courage to chat with a Listener!
@neatBanana1862 Laughter can be an incredible mood booster! Well done on gaining the courage to chat with a listener for the first time, We are a friendly bunch and are here to listen and support you.
I don't know what I learnt yet.. I only had 2 chats and none of them worked out and I guess I learnt that I like hedgehogs from that video?I learn that I need to try mybest to be healthier and happier but I think I also learnt it might take a while but yeah sorry I dont know what to put here ive never posted on a forum before and im supposed to to move on...
@JellyBellies
No problem if you're not sure what to write, thanks for sharing anyway. I think you bring up good points in how we have to try our best to be healthier and improve, but often it can take a while. I'm sorry to hear your first two chats didn't work out, but I hope you'll find one that does eventually. *hugs* Take care, and thanks for joining us here.
I learned that when u help someone with there problems u understand your problems better
@Blackmoon75
You're so true. That's what most if tge listeners do here. Have a great day.
@Blackmoon75 Yes! I totally agree with you! I am glad to help people here, and it gives me satisfaction of not only being there to support someone in need, but to understand what makes me happier and what I can learn from while helping them
