Taking time for me, being productive is still in the works, starting to learn who I am, still wondering what I'm capable of, testing limitations. Starting to come to terms with my grief, but still need time.

@WhisperingPiano thank you, I have been through a lot, and yes I am learning a lot here on 7 cops. I know I'm still going to have my ups and downs, but I have somewhere to go now. Ty

That sometimes just stopping, relaxing and living in the moment right now. That I am still here, breathing and have control in this second.

@SoloistArt Breathing is so helpful, right?? I never knew that sometimes just taking a deep breath can help clear your mind and heart in a stressful situation.

@neatBanana1862

it is definitely a more productive way to feel in control than self harm and it seems to work really well with the meditation.

I feel stronger having a place to come to and reset my negative habits to something more calming :)

This is step 220 for me here at 7cups. I was unable to login to 7cups for about a week and I learned how much I'd been depending on it. While 7cups is important (for some very important), it is also important for us to look outside the internet and interact with live people. I read a post in the forum on this very subject (becoming addicted to 7cups vs. agoraphobia and using 7cups as an outlet). So I guess I'm trying to say ...

Make appointments with friends, family, teachers, co-workers, etc in person first. Then when your schedule is partly full, then look to 7cups.

Please don't hear me wrong ... I do love 7cupsoftea!

@GlenM Not to let anything get me down and that I shouldn't listen to what people say about me. They don't know me and if the want to hate they could, I don't need them in my life. I'm special, even when at times that I doubt it. There are other out there that understand and those don't don't try their best. And that you should always be thankful for everyday that you get and live it like its your last because we don't live forever.

Love you, stay strong

So I've been thinking that focusing on what makes you happy during hard times makes the hard times a lot easier. If you focus on the bad, the good disappears.
