I can't change everything. I will have to accept the present as it is, or Cry for life. :)
To know i'm worth it.
I've learned to have more patience with others.
560. Finding something to hold on to.
Nobody knows about it. It looms in the corners, shrouded by darkness. It's a big secret. A part if myself I've disowned; a part of myself I don't accept. Maybe if I don't acknowledge it, it'll go away.
That hasn't been working. The thought first came into my mind five minutes ago: what if I acknowledge it. What if I own up to this part of me? Share it with people?
It would shatter the doubt that people would not like me if they really knew me. I would then be hiding nothing. Me. Purely me, out in the open. I'd be happier, who cares what other people think.. Right?
@Ac308
Ask yourself...do you really want to hide behind a veil every day in fear? I was you until 2 months ago. 26 years I hid myself, denied myself. No one knew the extent of my illness. No one knew anything about who I really was. Do it. I wish I did this years ago. Become you. The real you. People...are just people. They're fools if they ever want to profile and judge someone based upon anything. Closed minded fools.
@GlenM
To accept myself and relax more.
Realising that i can get through this break up and i am someone good. I just havent found the right person yet
@Sam92
Every break up happens for, almost always, a good reason!
It's always so hard to see. But, eventually, the good in a break up will show itself. :)
I found this app and i loved I'm so happy to be on here and I'm proud of what i accomplished
@Cholman12 And we are glad that you're here! Keep up the great work :)
I have learnt that I'm not alone, and that I might be ok.
@totalbookaholic Yes, you are most definitely not alone! :)
To try to relax by meditating or slowly breathing whenever I feel anxious, scared, or confused
@happyhowell What a great relaxation technique! Sometimes all we need to do is just breathe, and it seems to get easier from there.
