Learning about Boundaries

@GlenM Most humans are soft creatures, and are subjected to cruel treatment by people who are too immature to understand the effect they can have on others with their actions (abuse, neglect etc). A lot of people who have been mistreated are never guided to healing, and don't undersand that they can heal, but not in the way they thought. Healing is a slow process that can take however long, but as time goes on, you get stronger, wiser, and hopefully more loving of yourself and others.

Talking to your inner self about your struggles is a way to heal. Be it in a journal or while expressing yourself to someone you trust, you end up looking at things in a special way. It's good to take that chanse and use it to start problemsolving, and trying to figure out a way to go forward. We can't always change your situation and the people around us, but we can work on yourselves to adapt to the things that have and are hurting us. However, we have to remember that getting better may also involve they way we interact with people, and the way we do things. Changing those things about us can be incredibly hard, and haiving to do so much work can feel unfair, but it's just something we have to do.

All in all healing is a process that doesn't end up happening in one day in the future, but it is gradual and needs your work to be put in. It can be hard to look at your thoughts and feeling without breaking down or having urges, but crying is a natural stress relief, that stabilises the mind and helps the mind regain balance. Just remember not to rush things, and take your time with your steps. Take brakes when needed, but don't slack off!

TL;DR Healing happens slowly and gradually, not in an instant in the distant future. Healing is also a product of your own leighbor that you can achieve with the help of others who care.
