Hi Everyone, I have reached step 470

I have recently been able to accomplish two things with the help of what I have been learning. I found the courage, self-discipline, and self-control to interact with others at a family reunion. I was also able to control and overcome the negative emotions and self- doubts I have after such encounters. The other thing was a personal best: I rode my bicycle for 60 miles even though I'll be 60 in three months.

@GlenM

I'm on step 169, I think I'm on a 19 day streak.

I'm learning that I'm good as I am and I'm worthy to be in anyones presence. That my anger is a legitimate emotion and a sign that something is wrong, not to be dismissed, but definitely to be clarified and better understood. I'm learning that If I want to talk about compassion for animals I need to find a vegan listener. I'm learning different methods of meditation that can help me destress and feel centered. I'm learning to focus on the positive when it's appropriae and the negative when I can change something.

Accepting what is. That it is okay to be exactly where you are in this moment.

I've learned that how I treat myself is just as important as how I treat others.

I already knew this, but its starting to "click".... Don't compare myself to others. I'm already good enough and have a lot to offer the world. I can be happy for someone else without feeling inferior. @GlenM
