I think the thing I learned most that surprised me, honestly, is that when I share my little step things like gratitude on my path it sometimes benefits other people, enough for some folks to even mention it! wow...

then i went and fell off the wagon and am back to a two-day streak. oh well! :)

It's okay to just pat yourself on the back, even if for a minor thing.

I'm learning to focus on true joy in life and not be mentally or emotionally distracted by outside events or internal ones. Thank you 7 cups!

I've learned that I need to prioritse the important things. It sounds obvious when I say it like that, but life has a way of getting in the way.

Today's lesson was a hard one.

I learned that no matter how badly I want to be mentally healthy, no matter how much effort I put in, I can't heal myself in one day, or in one week. It is an ongoing battle. There are setbacks. Some days seem easy. Some days seem impossible. But as long as I keep trying, I'll keep moving forward.

@carefulBanana3419 Excellent insight, it would be great if there was something like a "quick fix" but unfortunately that isn't how it works. Each day is a part of the journey, either good or bad, it's a part and should be treated as a learning opportunity no matter what :)

That even if there's a long term issue that I'm dealing with I don't have to stop my life for it, I can take a step back and evaluate. It might not even be as big a problem as I originally though or I can figure out how to deal with it by figuring out my resources and who I can get help from.

@BlueGirl94 Wow, great insight! It's so easy to jump to conclusions or the worst case scenario, taking a step back and looking at "the facts" can be so helpful.
