Learning that no matter how much you love someone, they will find some way to shatter your heart and leave it on the floor for you to clean up as they walk away.

@NumerousBlessings thank you but it's more than just a feeling. The person I was in a relationship with said they wanted to walk side by side with me and help me through this time if my life. Then suddenly decides that the issues I am dealing with are too much, so they turn their back and walked away.
@1977john that must hurt. I understand that feeling of betrayal especially from someone that you've come to trust, if you would like to talk it out you're more than welcome to drop me a pm! I won't be online as much as before, but I'll reply whenever I see it :)
I got through a day of work without almost having a panic attack because I'm so anxious

I'm at step 45 and have learned that I'm going to be ok. Also that I am healthier than I thought I was!

I've learned that not all people are the same. That stretch marks and random hairs are normal. They make us human. I've learned that I can't judge myself based on what I look like. I don't do it to others why should I do it to myself? I've learned that I am a caring person and I have a lot of untapped potential.
@TrtlSndae a great lesson you learnt and that too on the selfcare day! indeed they always judge as Aesop ver ywell told us in his fable the old man and the donkey. just be yourself
I have to do this every day. I learned that I need a little something every day, and this is a good thing to be doing. @GlenM

I don't have to accept emotional abuse in my marriage and I can choose to leave even though it is very hard. There is no good beneficial reason to stay in an abusive marriage.
