Not really sure what I'm learning..... but these activities definitely take my mind out of ruminations for a bit. and a lot of the videos pull on my heart strings. so maybe for me it's the beginning of learning how to feel again.

I've learned that I can't let other adult's happiness be my responsibility.

On the other side of that coin though, I shouldn't rudely contribute to their unhappiness.

Im still not sure all the time where that balance line lies, and I tend to err more towards trying to make everyone happy and thinking I'm a failure when I don't.

But even though I'm still working on putting it into practice, I've learned it's the truth and I just need to keep trying.

@carefulBanana3419 It can be really difficult to find that right balance. We want to make others happy, and of course also ourselves. With this comes some conflict for sure. Remember you are not a failure, and all attempts to help someone else are valid and important! <3

That I need to be more conscious of my triggers

@Never2defeated Being self aware, especially of triggers and things that really do affect us in weird ways, is something that can really help us feel more in control! Just keep going :)
