So far I've learned that reaching out for help is Big and Clever, and that self-worth doesn't have to be based on "achieving" things. You don't have to have a constant string of successes to be a good person :)

@JeffTracey That's so nice to hear. Reaching out for help is a big positive step. And you are so right. You are worthy and loved just as you are.

To focus on the positive things more. I didn't even realize I was being so negative . So, I'm working on that now.

@WaterfallLily -

(grin) - if you are lost, you're lost with a lot of friends around you. And being lost means that you have an opportunity to find something new and even more exciting.

I've been lost for about 5 years, and beginning to start to enjoy it (he says, skipping through the forest, tripping over a root and landing face-down...)

@WaterfallLily It's okay to feel lost. Actually, it's a great first step to acknowledge that you are lost. At least now, you can make your little steps in finding your way back. As @thoughtfulTriangle4746 says, it gives us new things to look forward to. Thanks for sharing that Triangle *extends my hand to help you up*. Dust yourself off Lily, and get back up again. We're here to lend you a hand. :)

Step 20 - I've learned that it's all about my perception of things that cause the most stress, not the actual event, etc. Also, other people's perceptions that cause them stress rubs off on me - their perceptions AND their stress. For e.g. If I originally feel stress about an event and then realise to calm myself down, I can. Although, when someone else reacts negatively to the same event, and they tell me so, that stress and irritation rubs off on me. And then I become not only stressed and irritated by the event but much more so by other people's reactions to the event! Aaaaggghhhhh! Still a long long way to go! 😬😬😬😬.

@orangeWatermelon8349 That is so true Orange. Other people's energies are contagious! It's so nice that you can calm yourself down but don't feel bad if your peers rub off on you. It's completely normal. This is why it's important to surround ourselves with positive people and to be able to have some alone time where we can ground ourselves down without other people's energies interfering with us. A long way to go but you're getting there! :)

@Oyster Thank you :)

I'm mainly housebound at the moment due to a chronic health condition (& live with my parents...). I've recently learned that the brain can't distinguish between real life & what you make up in your head or what you watch on tv. So I've realised that it may help me to imagine & visualise myself with calming positive people. 😊. I could imagine myself getting a massage or anything else calming & relaxing. :)

@orangeWatermelon8349 That sounds great! I personally love massages haha. It's nice to see you use the power of your mind for your own wellbeing. Take care of yourself always. :)
