I've learned how to put my feelings first before others and stick up for myself. I recognize now when my boundaries are being crossed.
A history of struggling to set boundaries has stemmed from my childhood experiences and followed me into adulthood.
I've learned that I'm ready to change.
Step 310 today. I have learnt so much on my journey since may this year. My Life has Done a 180 degree turn around from where it was heading. Tomorrow is my court divorce day and that represents the end of an era and way of living and gives way for a brand new beginning. I am grateful to have the opportunity to start again even though it's with much pain many women do not manage to get out of abusive relationships. For this I am extremely grateful. I also have support a great job a car and new place to live with my 2 kitties. Watch out world I'm on my way up thank you 7 cups for being a great companion.
I have learned that recovery isn't a straight line described by the mathematical formula f(x)=x. Instead, it it is a long and complicated process, full of traps and setbacks. Still, I am walking the path with hope that one day I will recover from everything. Peace <3
I 've learned to accept my condition.try to live a normal life.
I'm learning that sometimes it's okay to say what I'm feeling
I learned that it's okay to forgive, and it doesn't make you weak.
To tread very lightly in chat rooms...
Completed step 70 :)
I've learned that self-care is important, being of service is important, listening is important, as is non-judgment. What I've learned is to ask for help at the first sign of trouble, and to take care of my mental and physical health first as soon as I fall off the wagon. To be more gentle with myself, and I realized I expected something recently after finish a goal of mine. But I have to accept where I am in life, who I am, and how I act.
I learned to be more calm about where I am and what is happening in my life.
I am in proccess of acceptance.
I learned that my mental illness is not what defines me, but it also isn't a crutch.
