With it being the end of the year I'm going to deviate a little bit from the growth path in general.
Hmmm thinking about this year I think I had more ups and downs with it than others. I'll have been on an upward trend for a while and then when my health takes a nosedive in a way that's unexpected I get really frustrated by it. I have certainly learned to cope with tough times pretty well. It's that change that I need to learn how to deal with better, when things are going well and there's that turn.
I learned that everybody is a work in progress, so there's no shame in not being as far along as I would wish.

@quietDime4559 So true 😊
I'm learning, I'm just not good at putting it down in words. I'm taking it all in and trying to understand, make sense and reflect as I go.
I've figured out that part of family anxiety is that though they reacted reasonably well when I came out, I am worrying that they have or will change their minds. Especially dad and my brother, who don't talk about it. And I am worried about dating a girl because then it's like being more visibly out. And what if that makes them reverse their position. But, that's not in my circle of control. I just need to do me, and accept that people will reject if they reject. ..... Even if I liked guys, that doesn't mean they would approve of my boyfriend.
I've learned not to stress over the small stuff.
I reached Step 10
I reached Step 10
Step 220. I learned that so many things effect my mood and behavior and it's all connected. It helps me realize a sort of chain and what I can do to fix the links.
I've learned that I need to listen to my body
I've learned that I need to make daily efforts to manage my bipolar swings and my anxiety. It's like being in recovery. I don't have problems with alcohol, but it's the same concept for getting and staying well.
