take the good with the bad and the bad with the good
This was a while ago tbh. So I have social anxiety and its really hard for me to speak to people but this is my milestone. So I was at a concert (The Plot In You good band omg) with my girlfriend and her friends and after "TPIY" played they went outside like they always do to go and talk to fans or just chill. Keep in mind they're a kind of small band. Me an my girlfriend saw Landon Tewers (the singer) standing around his van and we freaked she was too shy too say hi and get a picture so as we all debated who would go up to him bc he's kind of intimadating(her and her friends have met him before and said he was intimadating and kind of scary), I walked away from our little huttle and slowly and quietly went up to Landon and asked him for a picture for me and my friends he smiled happily said yes and took a picture with us. He looked really happy and ohmygosh I was so relived and happy and so happy with myself especially I was so proud I cant stop talking about it even though this was a while ago c:
one step at a time,
Try to make some steps each day, that you can feel better about you.
I've learned not to put unrealistic expectations on others.
When you have a relationship whether it's a romantic one or one of friendship, you are not responsible to carry it along alone.
I am not at fault for everything. Standingup for my feelings and asking for respect is not a bad thing, it is not something that should breakdown a friendship. I can't blame myself for any of this, he gave up - not me.
Now it's about moving past this and I know I can...
Everyone has a story and you can always listen :)
Personally, I've worked to listen to people in my own life too and while I always want to help people sometimes they need to take the steps and not you. Here I can always be reminded of that and always follow that - now it's just doing it in my daily life outside of 7cups :)
Love and good vibes to all <3
what a great website keep it up
It is certainly difficult to let go,even the mosttraumatic issues. Today I have let go because of an amazing listener who made a difference in my life. Thank you.
