I am the problem. I am also the solution.
It comes by looking at my finances. And my attitude towards money, and what I think I should have.
Just reached 50,and the best are yet to come :)
To be still, at peace and appreciat the beauty in nature. To face challenges head on and know that I will get through them as I have many times before.
Made it to 50
Hello everyone... It's been a while since i've signed in here... I got lazy, took time off here to support another person thinking i was better and i didn't need to work on myself, well... As it turnes out, i just let myself sink and i'm not good at all. I am now trying to motivate me again... It is nice to be back, love you all
Step 150.
On My Path I've learned that it's alright to do some of the reaching. All of my life I've been so used to throwing the life line that I realize now I do not have enough practice at reaching out for one when I feel the waters are a bit too rough.
I have learned that Mindfulness can help a lot! Staying mindful means I don't have to ruminate on the past or fret over the future, I just have to be. I can just let the past rest in the past and let the future take care of itself, staying rooted in the now, and the now, and the now, justbthis present moment. So much less stress!
Dear World of 7cups,
Today marks my 600th step on the Growth Path! What is the one thing I've learned on this leg of my journey here? How about what is one thing I have learned? :)
I have learned that, I think, it is okay to be somewhat dependant on 7cups - members, listeners, administration - at least that's what I think. I find myself coming here when I don't know who to call of my friends/family whose phone numbers are in my phone, like right here, like in my pocket :( Or when it's too late to call - my friend is a parent, or it'd just be considered 'rude' to call at that time of night.
Also it is a lot easier to be in deep tears while on 7cups as opposed to being on the phone. It is hard to understand someone when they're in tears on the phone. You may have a deeper sense of sympathy or support via the phone, because you can hear them. But at least on 7cups, usually I can still type and receive empathy over whatever it is that is bringing tears.
I am thankful for good listeners here. There are many! If you've had a poor experience with one or two, please don't give up on the 1-1 talks! There is a listener that you will connect well with ... please keep looking, okay? :)
Take care of you! ~ Platy

Oh my! You've really made it clear! You've listed many of the reasons why I love this 7 cups community.
I think we can continue our cups for a long time. Will there be a time when we don't need 7 cups? I don't know. But this I do know. We can always keep breathing, writing about our gratefulness, and supporting others.
I suspect we'll always appreciate someone to talk to here cause life will happen !
Best.......
