One of the things I've learned as of late is how out of touch I am with myself. I've been so tense and stressed. I haven't given myself much time to be by myself. I want to relearn how to do that, by taking myself out on dates or other things like that

@Ittybittyitty

I love taking myself out on dates. I'm going to a Gala next month....alone! Wish me courage!

It's a step above my weekly movies to theater and their activities.

Can't wait.

Best.......

I have learned to celebrate the small victories.

I am beginning to realize more and more that my problems just exist in my head. I have taken to reading more and I am currently reading Eckhart Tolle's the power of now. Which is very helpful. It's a long journey to get better but it's my journey. I deserve to be in the situation I am in and I can accept it.

I've learned that getting well mentally and learning not to worry about things you can't control or change, liking yourself, it's all a process. A very long and seldom ever easy process. Even now I'm far from saying I'm well. I've made mistakes, sometimes I've felt like I took more steps backwards than forwards, but I know I'm making progress. Sometimes I lose hope but I always muscle through and keep going.

Keep going. Don't stop. Take one cup a day or more when you have time. And before we know it, we'll be so much better.
