I think I'm really learning how to incorperate more self-care into my life, and how important it is to try and do more of it the worse I feel.

I think the thing I've learned - though I have to keep reminding myself of it - is to stay mindful, to stay in the present; that's how I've been able to make strides in doing more every day and accomplishing more: it's too daunting to look ahead to how much I'll have to do or how much effort it will take to achieve one of my longer- term goals. Like instead of focussing on losing x pounds, I'm trying to just eat more mindfully and healthfully today, drink more water and move/do more. Vigorous cleaning is just as good - and much more useful - than exercising per se!

I learned that motivation comes easier when you fight back those negative thoughts/emotions with positivity. No, it's not easy (in all honesty, it can be quite hard) but the effort is definitely worth it in the long-run.

I'm learning to accept lifes obstacles as they come and learn to accept them as I try to overcome them.

I've learned it doesn't matter what my diagnosis is or is not because i need to work on my well being and caring for others every day, regardless.
