Step 230.

I have learned to look for help. I have been having a very dark period these past three weeks and had been apprehensive in sharing that I have suicidal thoughts because of all the stigma and fear around it.

But I'm tired of pretending that everything is okay. I'm tired of walking in the storm alone.

I have opened up to my psychologist about it, and will see my family doctor this week to see about possibilities of medication or advanced therapy. I have also told one of my close friends.

It's important to take a few minutes every day to practice mindfulness

As much as I was so disdainful towards the idea of helping myself, I got help. I know now I have freinds who care, and a family who tries their hardest. I'm happier, even if I've only used it one day. The impact this has had on me is astounding, and I'll be happy to recommend this to freinds in the future.

Step 100, I've learned a lot in the last 2 years, the biggest being that nothing is permanent, good or bad, make the most of it

Step 44, and I've already noticed a big change in my life. I feel that I am more in control than what I had originally envisioned when starting the "cups". To me, each day I learn a new way to cope with the unique situations that arise for me using tested and proven methods. My approach to life has been more normalized and isn't some terrifying doom and gloom narrative.
